Unforgettable Kilimanjaro Trekking - We had an amazing experience with guides Julius and Brad on Kilimanjaro. This was our first attempt for Kilimanjaro's summit and we made it to the summit safe, healthy and in style, despite the challenging course, thanks to the wonderful support from the crew and Jackson's team at the office. I was very impressed by how serious the crew took our health, safety and comfort. They spared no effort to ensure that we were fit to continue trekking, with regular health checks, delicious meals, clean beddings and so many other things that made our trek a lot nicer. The crew was comprised of great people, all so friendly and yet professional. It was really nice being around them and listen to their interesting stories, songs, learn a bit of Swahili and so much about Kilimanjaro. The trek took us through changing habitat which were really stunning and enjoyable. It's a really beautiful journey that pushed our bodies to the limits with reaching the summit as the reward. I am very grateful to our crew and the entire Mboni Adventures crew for making this come true.

The reliable choice - There are no words that can fairly describe the awesome experience with Festus and his team of guides, porters and cooks. We are very impressed with their output during the trek, they all worked hard, smart and were united in our quest for Kilimanjaro's Uhuru Peak, which is Africa's highest point. They created ideal conditions for us to climb Kilimanjaro comfortably and the four of us reached the summit. We were furnished with great equipment and climbing gear, we also had a fully kitted first aid kit. There was enough food for the crew and climbers, which was prepared fresh in every sitting and was very delicious. We had a fantastic connection with the crew which made the otherwise physically journey, doable. The encouragement and professional climbing tactics by Festus and his team made the difference. I am happy that we chose Mboni Adventures, because they delivered on each and every one of the promises and even exceeded our expectations. Their services are excellent, affordable and really good. Great tour to Killimanjaro with Mboni - We took the marangu roure with Mboni. Jackson and his crew accompanied us for the moment we landed in the airport until we left the country. The killimijaro tour was perfect, we had a team of eigth people with us, includind 2 guides, chef and porters. The guides were very professional and supportive, everyhting was ready on time, and during all the tour we were surounded by this wonderful team, or as my son said, you don't need to do anything except walking. We did it on 6 dsys, because we took Satureday to rest on horombo, and also adjusted to the height. The night of the summit was a challange, but with the support and the incouragement of the team it was possible and doable. At the bottom line it was a great experience, highly recommended. For me it was a dream that came true and a great excitement. I did it with my eldest son, and it was also dpecial quality time for both of us.

The best - We had 6 extra ordinary days with Mboni staff en route Kilimanjaro. These people took great care of us. It starts from the warm welcome , the professional review of our readiness in terms of equipment , the rides. Then the guides which were wonderful , really care of everything, we got into very intimate discussions. These guys have great experience , and will solve any issue that might happen , and the mountain has its surprises :) The porters are adorable. The food was fantastic They have a professional chef !!! Don't think twice ....

Kilimanjaro Dreams Come True - Who would have thought that 3 people in their fifties would safely make it to Uhuru Peak? Khatib and Frank of Mboni Adventures recently completed the near impossible task of taking my husband, his brother and I through the forest, alpine grassland, moor, heath, ice..... We took the Coca cola route for more comfort in the cabins. The trek is quite tiring and long, it goes on for days taking toll on our bodies. The crew made it easy carting most of heavy luggage leaving us with manageable backpacks. These guys were prepared for any eventuality with fully a kitted medical kit, oxygen bottles, daily health checks. All the equipment was in good condition. The chef was exceptionally good. He made very nice food and provided lots of fluids that kept us hydrated and energized. Getting to the summit on the summit night was not easy, it sapped all our stamina and we had to heavily rely on the guides for encouragement and physical support at times. I have nothing but respect and adoration for this team that was with us all this time. They are the real heroes. Given another opportunity I would still go with Mboni Adventures

Recommended - We are happy we chose Mboni for the Moshi/Kilimanjaro portion of our visit. What really set them apart for us was the Manager, Jackson, who was very helpful, communicative and flexible as we developed our tour itinerary. The guides were also good and friendly. Where we struggled a bit was timeliness of the drivers, which was frustrating. We provided the feedback to Jackson, who said he is working to address this.
