Isola Tiberina - Continue to enjoy the stunning views of Tiber Island from the Tiber cycle path.
Colosseum - We will pause for several minutes in front of the Colosseum to appreciate the grandeur of this ancient structure and capture some memorable photos. Listen closely as your guide shares intriguing stories and anecdotes about the Roman Empire.
Piazza Venezia / Ancient City - We proceed on our e-Bike towards Piazza Venezia.
Pantheon - We will navigate through bustling alleys or side streets until we arrive at the exterior of the Pantheon.
Piazza Navona - We will arrive in Baroque Rome, with its refined squares and magnificent fountains, such as Piazza Navona.
Piazza di Spagna - We will admire the splendid Piazza di Spagna, positioning ourselves beneath the steps.
Trevi Fountain - Finally, we will visit the Trevi Fountain, where we will be ready to toss a coin and make a wish.
Piazza del Popolo - You will pass through charming neighborhoods, capturing images of churches, statues, and historic alleys, to fully experience the vibrant atmosphere of a city that never sleeps.
Appia Antica
Fiume Tevere - Departure is in the morning, with the exact time communicated a few days prior, as it varies with the seasons. Begin by cycling along the Tiber cycle path.
Circus Maximus - Here, you will be ready to take your first photo. The view stretching from the Imperial Forums to the Colosseum, passing by the numerous domes and bell towers that adorn the Roman skyline, is truly breathtaking.
Terme di Caracalla - Continuing towards the Via Appia Antica, we will encounter the Baths of Caracalla, one of the largest ancient thermal complexes.
Museo delle Mura - Here, your journey towards the wonders of the ancient Appian Way will commence.
Chiesa del Domine Quo Vadis - Pedal until reaching the first stop of the tour along the Via Appia Antica: Chiesa del Domine Quo Vadis.
Catacombs of Saint Callixtus - Arrive at the Catacombs of San Callisto by bicycle and enjoy a guided tour inside.
Basilica San Sebastiano Fuori le Mura - After visiting the Catacombs, the most enchanting stretch of the Via Appia Antica begins, passing by the Basilica of San Sebastiano Fuori le Mura.
Circus of Maxentius - View the Circus of Maxentius from outside the enclosure, allowing you to appreciate the beauty of its remains.
Mausoleo di Cecilia Metella e Castrum Caetani - Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica - Continuing on our e-Bike, we will stop in front of the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella, viewed from the outside while the guide shares historical anecdotes.
Complesso di Capo di Bove - Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica - Near Capo di Bove, we will take a lunch break at the Appia Antica Caffé, renowned for being a filming location for some movie scenes.
Appian Way (Via Appia Antica) - After re-energizing, we will cycle along the ancient Roman paving of the Via Appia Antica, taking care to pedal on the sides, especially for those less experienced.
Parco degli Acquedotti - Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica - We will first reach the Parco degli Acquedotti, one of Rome’s green lungs, a true crossroads of the ancient Roman water network; followed by two other parks such as:
Parco Di Tor Fiscale - Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica - The Tor Fiscale Park, where you can discover the remains of Roman villas, grand aqueducts, and farmhouses built near the Via Latina, which connected Rome with ancient Capua.
Parco Della Caffarella - Finally, the Caffarella Park, cycling through this lush valley crossed by the Almone river, you will encounter numerous archaeological remains of tombs, villas, towers, and the Nymphaeum of Egeria. Then return to the starting point.
