Start by visiting Tivoli, a charming village on the outskirts of Rome, and Orvieto, home to a remarkable Cathedral, en route to Siena. From there, venture to San Gimignano, known for its vintage wine cellars and ancient palaces, and Volterra, a key hub of Etruscan civilization. Enjoy a trip to the Chianti Valley for wine tasting, interfaced with a stop at the fortified city of Lucca. Finally, on the concluding day, explore Pienza, the gateway to Val d’Orcia, as well as Montepulciano and Montalcino, famous for their fortress and Montalcino red wine sampling sites. The journey concludes with a return to Rome. Tours are available on specific dates in 2021 and 2022, with a Portuguese-speaking tour director offered on several dates.
