Visitors will be captivated by its beauty and can explore the numerous medieval graffiti that reflect the passage of pilgrims over the centuries.
• Catacombs of St. Callixtus - THIS STOP IS INCLUDED ONLY IN THE 5-HOUR TOUR.
  Explore the official burial site of the Church of Rome. As the largest underground cemetery in the city, its corridors stretch approximately 20km. The Catacombs of St. Callixtus, a sacred site from the second century BC, are named after the deacon Callixtus I. Over 50 martyrs, 16 popes, and half a million Christians were interred here.
• Appian Way (Via Appia Antica) - Known to the Romans as Regina Viarum (the queen of roads), it is regarded as the greatest civil engineering achievement of the ancient world. The history of the Via Appia Antica is fascinating, beginning in the 4th century BC thanks to the censor Appius Claudius, known as the Blind, who initiated its construction to facilitate the movement of Roman troops southward. Initially extending from Rome to Capua, it was later expanded to reach Brindisi, the most significant port of Ancient Rome.
• Parco Della Caffarella - The Caffarella Park, now part of the Appia Antica Regional Park, is one of the largest green spaces in Rome and Europe. It is a historical treasure trove, with paths and groves revealing the remains of ancient structures.
• Ninfeo di Egeria - Be enchanted by this sacred site that narrates the love story between the Nymph Egeria and Rome’s second King, Numa Pompilius. Upon learning of her beloved’s death, Egeria’s tears gave rise to a spring.
• Mausoleo di Cecilia Metella e Castrum Caetani - Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica - This impressive mausoleum, a pagan tomb dedicated to Cecilia Metella from the 1st century BC, is part of the Castrum Caetani and remains the best-preserved mausoleum on the Via Appia Antica. Visitors can also admire the remnants of the medieval house of the affluent Caetani family and the church of San Nicola, of which only the perimeter walls remain.

  Under the shadow of the Claudio aqueduct, a lunch break is planned where visitors can savor Italian specialties at a restaurant. In the afternoon, a delightful aperitif will be served.
• Parco degli Acquedotti - Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica - The e-bike tour continues through this vast green area, historically traversed by the Via Latina, Rome’s oldest road. As a hub of Ancient Rome’s water network, visitors can marvel at the grandeur of Roman engineering through the remains of several aqueducts, some well-preserved and surprisingly still operational.
• Circus of Maxentius - Situated on the Via Appia Antica, the Circus of Maxentius is the best-preserved example of a Roman circus. Visitors can journey back in time amidst the remnants of ancient Rome. The spina, still visible, once housed the Agonale obelisk, which was relocated during the Renaissance to the Fountain of the Four Rivers in Piazza Navona.
• Terme di Caracalla - Constructed by the emperor of the same name, the Baths of Caracalla were the largest public baths for about a century, and much of their structure is still intact today. A branch of the Aqua Marcia supplied water to the baths via the Antoninian aqueduct. Small remnants can be seen at the Porta di San Sebastiano.

The Aqueduct Park narrates the history of water in Rome and its engineering marvels, as six ancient Roman aqueducts converge here.

Participants will ride a high-quality e-bike across a smooth, 2,300-year-old meadow, experiencing the history of the great empire. The journey traverses a distinctive landscape filled with ancient relics, imperial villas, statues, and tombs, making it a deeply moving bike tour.
