Very good experience - This tour was easy to organise and the person who exchanged the voucher for your tickets was very easy to find. She took us in quickly and we managed to use the lift to get up the top of the colloseum, asthe guide had advised us before hand the things on offer once inside. She was very knowledgeable. The walk round was very interesting, and you could take as much time as you wanted.

How to facilitate access to this magnificent but crowded site... - Initially going through the Get Your Guide site, we were supported by this service provider, 2 extremely friendly people including K (I don't have the first name of the 2nd person...), who welcomed us, gave explanations, guide. It certainly has a cost, but no waiting (which is a luxury in Rome...), everything is well explained. It was perfect.

Not a guided tour - The guide information tickets and was gone. Friendly and did what was advertised. So read the details carefully.

Not recommended - This experience seems to be a scam. I paid €59 to visit the Colosseum with my son. The description said "Colosseum Arena + Colosseum Entrance" (but the ad seems to be changed since then?). Once inside the Colosseum, I was told that we did not have access to the rest of the Colosseum, that it was only for visiting the arena. However, the ticket for the arena costs €18 and it is free for children. So I called the contact person for my reservation to ask how they justified the price difference. At that point of the conversation, he hung up on me and it was impossible to reach him again after that. My advice: buy your ticket directly on the official site of the Colosseum !

Cancelled without notice. - The booking was cancelled without any message. Ended up waiting 1.5 hrs. Tried to contact the company by phone, but only got an answering machine in Italian. Too late to try to get new tickets from another operator as it’s all sold out 🥺
