What a day!!! - Our guide Franseco was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of interesting information. It was extremely hot but there was plenty of shade.

Our family of six... - Our family of six experienced the Roman forum and Colosseum with our tour guide, Max. Max has a wealth of information, very engaging, and a great sense of humor. Although it was hot, Max provided great timing for fresh cold Roman water to cool off.

A must, colosseum is not the same without a guide. - Very well organized. Traveled with my 10 yo and 9 yo boys. Our guide, Marcus, was very knowledgeable and considerate (had us stand in the shade during summer as much as possible). He brought books is images for use to be able to appreciate the current structures and compare with what it would have been in the past. Earbuds and radio were provided so everyone could hear the guide at all times. Everyone had a great time.

Our tour guide, George,... - Our tour guide, George, was great. His wealth of knowledge and dry wit really helped bring it all together. Id recommend doing the tour later in the day over the summer months, or, avoid the heat of summer. It's a lot of walking out in the sun.

Deceptive itinerary - Our family had booked this trip based off the advertised itinerary, when we arrived and started the tour the guide advised that they had changed it and would start off with the palatine hill, forum and the colosseum last. I spoke with the operator on regards to the change due to the fact we had elderly people with us and due to the weather they would be too tired at the end to see the colosseum at the end, our main goal was to see and enjoy the colosseum the rest was extra and if we had been too tired we would've left the tour early. He then told me that the advertised itinerary isn't always followed which was very deceptive because that's the only reason i booked the tour with them to being with. If you're booking based off what's advertised don't be surprised once you show up and they change your plans for you. Unfortunately exactly what i said would happened and we had to leave 15min into the colosseum due to my husband and his sister being too tired and missed the rest of the tour

Nicom’s Description of Tour Inaccurate - Alessandro was a very knowledgeable tour guide. He was a great wealth of knowledge and truly loves his city, people, and history. However, the Nicom experience left much to be desired with their inaccurate description of this tour. Unfortunately there are 2 huge issues that ruined the experience: we were able to get into the archaeological park with no problem— my husband and I had our us drivers license which they honored, however, Nicom failed to tell us we would need ID with picture. They did let us in with our ID annd our children - both did not have ID (14 and 12 yrs). Park gate keepers said children under 18 are allowed in with ID parents. The colosseum did not let us in as a family. Nicom said nothing about our kids (or us, for that matter) requiring ID for entry in the experience description. I also did not receive an email in advance to ensure we bring ID, as I have to do with our Vatican experience tomorrow. So we only saw 2/3 of the tour. Very disappointed because we were excited for what we thought of as the main event: the colosseum and paid a lot of money for the experience. Second, this is touted as skip the line, but we had to wait in line for over a half hour in 95 F. Last, we were to see Palentine Hill, but we never made it to the top because we ran out of time. Very disappointed , again, because I was told you see great views of Rome. All in all, I would say this was a huge disappointment for the money spent with a highly misleading description.

no tour guide to meet us... - no tour guide to meet us and their was other couples and families also waiting, no refund so far, after Viator cancel on us the day before we had to take a golfcard tour, very disappointing for the first trip to Rome
