Very smooth tour and process - It was very well organized. They gave us a reminder call the day before and called to make sure we could fund their location day of the tour. Angela was very well informed and explained everything in a relatable way.

Secrets to the Success of the Roman Empire - The weather was very hot and the walking raather demanding. SO take water with you and wear good walking shoes. Our tour guide, Benjamin(?) was very knowledgeable. He went into todetail on the history and the engineering of the Roman Empire. I was amazed at the similarities of their organization: using Government Departments to manage various aspect of life. The mausoleums were fascinating.

Our tour guide, Mircea,... - Our tour guide, Mircea, provided a wealth of knowledge at every stop of this tour. Not only did he guide us through each important site, but also found the shady spots for us to stop and get a break from the heat. His professional, yet friendly demeanor made the tour extremely enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyed! - We did this tour with our 11 yr old twins who are not big fans of walking tours, but our guide M. kept things interesting and was happy to answer their questions. Enough breaks/times for photos etc, moved at a reasonable pace for my kids.

Strenuous excursion - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The tour itself was very long, it includes walking around the Palantine hill. There are lots of stairs and hills and rocky terrain. So you will be walking a lot and in the heat of summer can be very challenging. I do think they should label this excursion as strenuous. My parents and another elderly couple were exhausted!

Great guide but not enough time to do justice to the location and it's history - The actual tour guide was brilliant. She knew her history and made the entire visit very informative and entertaining. Unfortunately the time they give is far too short for the Forum or Palatine hill. You are significantly better off buying a standard entry ticket and getting a good audio guide or book and spending the time needed to fully appreciate the spectacle that is Rome. Allow at least half a day for the Forum, the temples in and around and the Palatine hill. The Colosseum is a timed entry, so probably best to do the Forum in the cooler morning and the Colosseum in the afternoon because it has its own air cooling system designed 2000 years ago
