One of the best tours we... - One of the best tours we had during our stay in Rome. Our tour guide, Katie, was fantastic. Friendly and knowledgeable, she made our experience so much better. I highly recommend this tour and company, Eyes of Rome.

Hot summer day - Was lot of walking, not ideal for children however we really enjoyed the coloseum and Alesandro ( the archaeologist) was very knowledgeable

Unforgettable - Fantastic experience, and our guide Alessandro is to thank. He was amazing. Super relaxed, very knowledable, extremely likable, and a great sense of humor. Felt like a friend guiding through the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Being an archaeologist himself added to his knowledge. This was the second time that some in our group have done this tour, and felt that we learned more from Alessandro than we did the previous tour.

Best way to see the colosseum - This tour was the best way to see the colosseum. I’m glad we booked the underground tour and got to see the underground tunnels as well as the top levels. I learnt history about the colosseum that I didn’t know. Our guide was very good and he knew a lot of history. It was also nice to be in a small group. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Archaeologist Tour Guide - Our tour guide was an archaeologist that worked on the Forum and Pompeii excavations. Extremely knowledgable with a love of the site’s history. Only three people in the group so very personal tour.

Worth every penny. - It was a busy day but Mikela moved us through the Colosseum like we were the only ones there. The underground is a must. The Forum was equally impressive and well worth the extra time. Three hours felt like one. Fantastic!

Colosseum what a spectacular piece of history - Our guide Alessandro being an archaeologist made our tour so interesting and full of interesting facts and fun at the same time. I was amazed from start to finish exploring all levels of the Colosseum and the Roman forum the detail and architectural genius was just amazing. Our visit to Rome has left us with such wonderful memories and great appreciation for agent Romans and all they accomplished

Informative small group tour. - This was a small group tour ( maximum 6 participants) which was lovely, and we chose to do this as it included the underground part of The Colosseum. The guide , Allessandro, was knowledgeable, but seemed to be in a rush all the time to avoid the larger tour groups. He did give us plenty of photo stop opportunities, but again we always felt rushed. We did get to see everything we wanted to in The Colosseum, but we were only shown a few things in a very small part of the Forum before being taken to the exit ( and the 3 hour tour only really lasted just under 2.5 hours!). In hindsight it would have been better to just stay in the Forum rather than exit with the guide, and continue looking round by ourselves. As it was, we decided to return the following day ( paying another entrance fee) to look round the Forum and Palatine Hill at our leisure. I realise that you can't see everything in 3 hours, but I do feel that we were a bit short-changed in terms of time. It was a great tour to be able to see the underground part of the Colosseum so would recommend it just for that, as not many other tours seemed to offer this, but 3 hours is not long enough to cover the Forum and Palatine Hill.

Very interesting - Great tour. Fun guide. Very good insight. Kept the tour moving at a good pace. Was definitely nice to go somewhat straight in and not be stuck in the line outside.
