- Tarquinia - In Tarquinia, the tour includes a visit to the Necropolis of Monterozzi, renowned for its Etruscan tombs adorned with stunning frescoes. Following this, the National Archaeological Museum will be explored, which houses a collection of Etruscan artifacts. An optional lunch is available. The entry ticket for the Tarquinia Necropolis is not included but can be purchased at the necropolis ticket office.

Superb Tour with Simone - This was an excellent day trip. Simone our guide made the day come alive. He was friendly and very engaging and helpful. The Etruscan sites were amazing and so unique, absolutely worth seeing. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

Etruscan Delight - A wonderful day with beautiful countryside and views of the sea. The Etruscan tombs, especially the painted ones in Tarquinia, were amazing. The museums for each were interesting also. Don't miss the gelato shop in Tarquinia. Simone allowed plenty of time for exploring on your own but was always available to answer questions or give tips for things to see. He is such an informative guide with a great sense of humor and obvious love for Italy and its history. I would highly recommend Scoot Around Rome and Simone for any of the tours he offers. You will have an exceptional day!!

ESTRUSCHI TOUR - An excellent day trip with Simon, who picked us up & dropped us off at our B & B. He was prompt & such fun to spend the day with as well as being very informative. Cold drinks are provided & we were not rushed at any time. He also provided us with a secondary phone fore site commentaries & to contact him if need be. We visited Tarquinia & Cerveteri, ESTRUSCHANS sites. We highly recommend this tour & Simon was great company. With thanks. John & Susie ( NZers)

A VERY ENJOYABLE DAY TRIP - What a great day trip. Simon picked us up from our B & B, and was prompt, fun & very informative. Nothing was rushed & we visited both sites & and museum. The sites were not crowded & we took our time. He had cold drinks on hand for us, & gave us a secondary phone he had for site briefings & to call him if we wanted. We also had a lunch break & stops whenever we wanted. Lots of laughs with him during the day as well. An excellent day trip which we both enjoyed & highly recommend. With thanks. John & Susie.

Best day tours out of Roma - We did two day trips with Simone.. they were both sensational! Simone shared his knowledge and passion, and his great sense of humor made the days fun,
He went out of his way to fit in an extra unscheduled stop. Pitilgiano was my dream, Thanks Simone.. you made our trip the best ever. We’ll be back and will highly recommend your tours!

THE best way to see what you want to see in Rome! - We booked directly with Simone several months ago and took our tour with him last Saturday and it turned out to be of the best planning decisions we made for our trip!
Simone was amazing and so responsive over email/WhatsApp on getting out tour customized beforehand. We were flying out of FCO the next morning so we wanted to be picked up from one hotel, drive around the tour sites with our luggage, and then be dropped off at the Hilton at the airport. Simone made it happen with such ease and hospitality, and we are so grateful for his service!
The tour day itself was wonderful. After wading through so many enormous tour groups in the center of Rome and feeling rushed around in other tours due to time constraints and needing to get on mass transit, having a private driver that is only beholden to your schedule was such a luxurious treat! We felt that we were able to spend so much more time, enjoying ourselves at the sites and spending time immersing ourselves in these amazing places. Simone gave us a phone to contact him whenever we were ready for pickup, and it was such a relief knowing we had a ride when we were ready--everything was truly on our schedule!
For lunch, Simone made reservations for us at a wonderful local trattoria that was so delicious and well priced! We never would have found that place without his recommendation and we're so glad that we had the opportunity.
Our luggage was always with Simone in the car, so we felt super confident that it was safe and secure
Overall, Simone was THE perfect tour for our last day in Rome. We can't recommend Simone woth Scoot Around Rome enough if you're looking for a truly personal way to tour the sights you've always wanted to see!

Etruschi nectopolis - ETRUSCHI TOUR.
We had a wonderful day discovering the necropolis of Tarquinia and Cerveteri along with their museums. Our guide/driver Simone was really nice. He was really professional, punctual and always ready to give us useful information on the different attractions. Additionally, he bought some cakes for us while we were visiting one of the archeological sites. 100% Recomendable.

Too trip around Etruscan sites - Simone was the perfect guide, driver and companion. I couldn’t rate him highly enough. The visit around the Etruscan necropoli and museums was fascinating and would be impossible to do independently.
If you have the chance you must take this tour.

Anyone interested in historical... - If you are interested in historical sites, you should definitely book this tour. Our guide Simone was outstanding! He gave us a lot of information. The day before we were reminded of all the data, again sent exact meeting point with photo, he was on time, drove us very well everywhere, always offered that we can stay at the sites as long as we need. We really enjoyed it and we learned a lot. We had asked for recommendations for restaurants on the way back and he still sent us all after the end of the tour. Also another link with the pictures of the sites. Even more tips on what else we can see near our hotel. We found that extremely nice! Thanks again to Simone for this wonderful day.

Fantastic Day Trip - This is a fantastic tour. The tombs and artefacts are fascinating. There was no rush and we were given time at each of the four sites to look at what we needed being driven to each site in a comfortable air conditioned car (much needed in the heat!!) Thank you Simone for a brilliant day. Highly recommend day trip and especially good if you have visited Rome before and want to to see something a little different outside the city.
