Away from the most crowded itineraries - It was our second tour with Andrea, and it surprised us a lot. The road to the catacombs is already a pleasant experience, a mix of nature and very impressive Roman monuments. The catacombs are located on top of a hill, and extend for many floors underground, very suggestive. Afterwards we visited the ancient appian way and the aqueduct park, for a complete tour of the Roman countryside.

If you’re looking for something to surprise you, it’s the right tour - I have been to Rome many times, I wanted to see something new, different from the wonderful old town. The tour was very interesting and well organized, Andrea picked me up at the hotel, and took me along the Via Appia Antica, up to the catacombs, located on a hill full of green meadows. The visit took place with a priest to guide a small group. The catacombs amazed me, going underground and finding yourself in a Christian cemetery 2000 years ago, is something that leaves its mark. The tour with Andrea then continued along the Appian Way until reaching the aqueduct park, I had never seen a Roman aqueduct so closely! Rome always manages to surprise me

Book this tour, you will not regret it - We also booked this experience with Andrea, as we were very pleased with the tours we did with him. The tour started at the circus Massimo, and from there we headed towards the Via Appia. Immediately the scenery is different from the classic one of Rome, you enter a part of Rome rich in monuments and trees. After a few minutes you will meet the majestic Porta San Sebastiano. The highlight, however, are the catacombs, which also boast a wonderful park around them. We visited them with a guide together with a small group, we really enjoyed the visit. After the catacombs Andrea showed us the ancient Appian Way, and a really amazing park full of Roman aqueducts, some still active. We recommend this experience to everyone, it is useful to know a new side of Rome, and also very relaxing!

An experience out of the ordinary - I was curious to visit the famous catacombs of San Callisto, and on a rainy day, I decided to do it, booking this tour. The result was excellent, the tour exceeded my expectations. Andrea is a very polite and attentive guy, the visit with him of the appia antica and the aqueduct park was fantastic, and also the guide inside the catacombs was very engaging. The photos with the fiat 500 are amazing!

We were not disappointed, we visited the catacombs, the majestic park of the Aqueducts, and a part of the famous Appian Way. I recommend this tour to everyone, as you will be impressed, and we recommend doing it with Andrea and his vintage Fiat, which made it all more engaging.

A great way to get beyond the city centre - A really great experience and opportunity to get outside of the Rome city centre. The car was beautiful and Andrea was very knowledgeable of the area. We went to the Aqueduct too which was excellent, and we enjoyed the catacombs. We highly recommend

Away from the crowds of tourists - Andrea proposed us to do this tour, describing the places we would see as among the most beautiful in Rome. When he told us “satisfied or refunded” he convinced us! We saw monuments, parks, places of worship that we didn't even know existed. The catacombs of St. Callixtus were an unforgettable experience, thousands of niches dug into the tuff, entire underground “churches”, even a chapel with many popes buried. After visiting the park of the ancient Appia we still had time, and Andrea showed us the park of the aqueducts, where many Roman aqueducts are still visible, some still in operation after 2000 years. Having a room available and a vintage car was indispensable for the visit, there is not much public transport in the area.
