Lidia's Cooking Class Was Amazing We Had a Wonderful Evening Cooking and Dining in Rome - Our family had a fantastic time learning how to make Tiramisu and different types of pasta with Lidia. The location for the class was beautiful and historic in the Jewish Quarter at her residence. We started early in the evening with appetizers and wine including meats, cheeses, and Bruschetta. We then made Tiramisu, which was amazing how easy it was to learn to create such a delicious desert. After a little more wine, we eagerly learned how to make pasta using egg, flour, and a pasta making machine. Our pasta turned out wonderful. Lidia then cooked the pasta and served it with a Guanciale based tomato sauce. We also had pasta served with a cheese based sauce. We laughed and got to know Lidia well during the evening. She is a super interesting person and a wonderful host! We highly recommend this cooking class for all when you are in Rome you must do as the Romans do and learn to cook great food!

The cooking class at Lydia is an experience not to be missed 😃 - The cooking class at Lydia is an experience not to be missed. Since she does not speak German herself, she has summarily brought her nephew in as an interpreter for the whole evening. The reception was very warm, as if passing by old friends you haven't seen in a long time. Under the guidance of Lydia, we made and prepared tiramisu and pasta ourselves. There was Aperol Spritz and delicious Tuscan red wine to eat. It was an evening that will be remembered forever and when we are in Rome again it will be repeated but then with the preparation of pizza

Best thing we did in Italy! - Having this experience in Italy is a MUST! Lidia was so very sweet, patient and knowledgeable with all the meals we made. She was funny, caring and took the time to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. As we arrived we were led to a wonderful courtyard area where there was a table with appetizers and our choice of wines or Aperol Spritz’s. We were able to snack a bit in between making different meals, and learn about Italian culture. It was very relaxed and fun! We made tiramisu, cheese and pepper pasta and carbonara. It was the best we had the whole time we were in Italy! It was a fun, romantic and entertaining evening with my husband and Lidia. By the end of the evening we were happy to enjoy the yummy Tiramisu we had made. We then enjoyed the company of Lidia’s family over glasses of wine and chatted some more. I 100% recommend this fun night and would tell anyone they need to book! This made our trip so special and we loved every moment. Did I say delicious?!? It was sooooo good and we felt very full when we left but very happy too! She knows what she’s doing in the kitchen and was the perfect teacher. Don’t miss doing this in Italy, you will absolutely regret it!

Fantastico! - The culinary workshop we attended, located in the historic district of Rome, proved to be an exceptional experience. We were warmly welcomed at home by Lidia and Frédérica and had the privilege of learning to prepare traditional Italian dishes such as fresh pasta and tiramisu. The friendly atmosphere and the quality of teaching made this evening unforgettable. I highly recommend this activity to anyone who wants to discover the secrets of Italian cuisine in an authentic setting. The indoor terrace on which we dined was just magical and the kitchen area authentic;"A rewarding experience in every respect." I highly recommend this experience to all foodies and curious who wish to live a unique moment in Rome. Many thanks to Lydia and Frédérica for their sharing and passion! Audrey and Alexandre
