Fantastic trip to the Stadio Olympico - We booked our tour direct with Viator. After some initial problems with the operator (they thought we were booked on the tour at 10:30am but our tickets were at 16:30) we started our tour, and loved every minute of it. Initially we thought the section outside of the stadium would be less interesting, but we were wrong. Our boys, 17 and 15, really enjoyed it. The best part though was the stadium tour, which was fantastic. Our guide really enhanced the trip. Apologies we have forgotten her name, but she was excellent and really improved the experience. We would definitely recommend this tour. Our boys thought this might have been the best tour on our trip, which included the Colosseum and the other usual sites, so high praise!!

Last minute tour made for a great morning. - My tour guide, Simon, was very helpful and spoke many languages. The tour spends around 25 minutes going around the grounds of the Stadio Olimpico and focusses on its fascist routes under Mussolini, so it touches on history and politics as well as other sports. The remaining part of the tour takes you down the Legends entrance into the players changing rooms before eventually going to the pitch, the bench and up to the top of the terrace, ending at a cafe/bar and the club shop. Overall I found it good value for money and interesting.

Amazing tour! - Simone, our tour guide was amazing and his football knowledge was really good. It was interesting how much history is within the Stadio Complex. Simone was very cheerful and made it a relaxing yet interesting tour and even took a few pictures which was nice of him. Would definitely recommend to any football fans to give this a go!

Not worth it - We had to walk for 30 mins just to access the stadium because of some work. The tour company seemed to have no clue what was going on. Inside this is one of the poorer stadium tours I’ve been on. The stuff on display is random and poorly explained. The tour guide was nice and spoke ok English but was hard to understand. No trophy room, you’re kinda dumped unceremoniously in the gift shop and it’s not clear you now need to walk a mile just to exit. I wouldn’t recommend.

poor - We visited the Rome stadium and although the place itself is impressive and we had a pleasant time walking around, the guided tour was disappointing. Unfortunately, the tour guide arrived late, and more importantly, did not have sufficient knowledge for a guided tour. She spoke very little and mainly just showed us the different areas without explaining the history, significance, or stories behind the stadium. If the tour had been more affordable, it might have been acceptable as a simple walk-through. However, for the price we paid, we expected to learn much more about the history of the stadium. In the end, we left without gaining any real historical insight. The location is worth visiting, but the guided tour itself did not meet our expectations.
