Visit this place - it's a must! - What an amazing morning spent in this historical Roman city. We couldn't believe how intact this city is and how few people know about it! Our guide, Sarah, was so passionate and informative; she went the extra mile on this informative and entertaining tour. We absolutely loved being in her company and learning so much about this hidden gem.

Ostia Antica with Sonia - My teenaged son and I had a great tour with Sonia P. as our guide. Highly recommended. Sonia is very knowledgeable and took us throughout the expansive ruins, providing lots of insights about the daily lives of the ancient Romans. If you’re a history enthusiast, you will love this informative tour. It was also nice to get away from the crowded attractions of downtown Rome.

Rome's hidden gem - Really enjoyed walking around the ancient roads of Ostia and into the ruins of the buildings. Our guide (Sarah) really brought the port to life with her excellent knowledge and stories. Sarah was also very helpful about other Roman experiences on offer.

You get a better idea of... - You get a better idea of what Ancient Rome was like after visiting Ostia Antica than any other site in Rome! After chaotic and busy first day in the city center, Ostia Antica was a welcomed space of tranquility—few tourists and plenty of space to go your own way. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, personable, and completed the experience.

Great tour and amazing place to visit - We had a fantastic time wandering around this place. The guide was absolutely brilliant and very informative. She gave us a very interesting insight. A beautiful break from busy Rome - Ostia Antica was a pleasant day out of the city - quiet, green, and open. The theatre and mosaics are beautiful. Walking the streets of the ancient city brought the history to life. Sara, our guide, was excellent. She had many engaging stories to share. And we ended the day with a quick trip down to the beach, just a few stops further along.

Tour guide never showed! - Picks different company! We were at the meeting place an hour early and waited almost 30 minutes after we were supposed to have left- and the GUIDE NEVER SHOWED UP! We went there on our own though, with zero help from the tour company or guide! 😤😠😡🤬 At least they did refund our payment, but never the less, we wanted to learn from the guide and didn’t get to. Very disappointing!!!
