Make sure Angela is your guide! - I can’t rate Angela highly enough. Very knowledgeable about Italy and kept us entertained on the long journey. Because of this, the journey didn’t feel long at all. At Pompeii, we had Natasha as our guide and she was amazing. Pompeii was a real eye opener, you can really feel the history there. I would love to visit at night! I had a little accident while I was there, I tripped and fell so just be very careful where and how you walk. It didn’t dampen the visit at all because both guides were great and looked after me. Back on the bus on the way to the Amalfi Coast and Positano and time for more Angela stories! I don’t have enough words to describe Positano…it’s beautiful. To be able to dip my toes in the sea was a dream come true. Still aching from my fall, a wee visit to the Limoncello factory in Naples for a sample made everything better. Highly recommended!

Fantastic trip with City Wonders—Pompeii, pizza, Amalfi Coast & Positano in a day! Fun, smooth, and well-guided - Amazing day trip with City Wonders! Antonino was kind and informative, Cesare a great driver, and Giovanni gave a great tour of Pompeii. Everything was smooth, fun, and unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Victoria - The tour was really well organized, Laura L (LL) was a great tour guide with a lot of knowledge and fun stories to share! She was very clear with what to expect, time frames, when to be back on the bus etc. - really made us feel safe and well taken really off! We enjoyed the whole day! Improvements; - Outlets in the bus would have been great :)

Mamma Mia! This trip was so lovely! - This was an excellent tour! We enjoyed Pompeii and the history. Our tour guide was fabulous. So much information. It was great to walk around the ruins and actually feel the history there. We also enjoyed our stop in Positano. It was a beautiful place. Unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The day was very long though coming from Rome. We had a little trouble with traffic which made the day longer. But our tour guide Erika was knowledgeable, courteous, and humorous, which filled the time well.

Guide was fantastic! But disclaimers could've made the experience even better. - Barbara was wonderful. She was so inclusive and really made you feel completely welcomed, not only on the tour but in her country. She went above and beyond to teach us some local customs, phrases, and other things that would help us get around smoothly. The regions we visited were beautiful but despite reading the tour description very well, I didn't feel appropriately prepared which is the only reason why I'm withholding a star. You get ~1.5-2 hrs in Positano but were not advised or recommended to bring beach apparel until we were on the bus almost there, where good places to take a dip were discussed. It's an exorbitantly expensive region so outside of this tour, we wouldn't be visiting again and didn't feel like we were able to make the most of it (in the amount of time we had). Also, the road to Positano is extremely windy and I'm subject to vehicular motion sickness so being prepared with some Dramamine would've been a difference maker, since my nausea did somewhat compromise my overall experience.

Pompeii to Positano - The small group was great and the Pompeii tour was excellent. However the lunch in Pompeii (at our own expense) wasted time that could be spent in Positano. We should have gone straight there and sourced our lunch at the many establishments on the coast. The Positano experience felt rushed in one hour and took away from the experience of the day.

Pompei - An excursion on a Leger Holiday - The trip to Pompei was an excursion whilst on a Leger Luxuria tour. Whilst Pompei was an amazing experience, it was let down by the guide. Our wonderful drivers,Anthea & Steve, informed the guide of the time we had to be back on the coach & also that we were to have some free time & lunch. The guide set off on a route march,no free time ,no lunch. This was noted & reported back by our drivers. Hey, ho,these things happen. Thankfully, it was a sunny day, with Mount Vesuvius in clear view.Photo opportunities around every corner. Panoramic views of surrounding area too. Very atmospheric. A lot of the ground is uneven, gaps between cobbles, sensible footwear essential. The Book on sale in the Souvenir shop is well worth the €19.99. To cover the whole site would require one to two full days.

At least 15 hour trip! - At least a 15 hour trip! Very long day. Felt quite rushed and by the end of the day getting back for 10pm you have missed out a dinner. Tried to see too much in one day.

Take at Your Own Risk - When it was time to return to the departure location after exploring Positano, I took a wrong turn and ended up walking up 1,000 steps up toward the main road. I am 77 years old so it was very exhausting when I reached the departure location. I was so surprised to learn that the tour group had left without me. I was about 15 minutes late. After a frantic search. I found a group with the same name as City Wonders. They allowed me to ride back with them and I was eventually reunited with my origin group.
