Taking the stress out of the day. - Lucas did a great job herding about 50 people from Rome to Pompeii and back. Both the train a d coach journeys were slick and comfortable with Lucas making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time.
Having the stress of the journey taken away so we could just sit back and relax was worth the money.
I would recommend for anyone planning a similar trip.

Fab experience from start to finish - From the moment we met our guide ‘Fab’ to returning back to Rome, the experience was amazing. Using Italiatours took the hassle out of train travel and kept us all on track but without feeling rushed. Pompei was jaw dropping and we even had time for a pre departure drink in Naples before heading back to the eternal city. Our guide was brilliant and even managed to organise a tour for 10 of us on the day - Grazie
mille Fab! I cannot recommend this tour enough - don’t miss out on an interesting and well-organised day. You definitely won’t regret it. Comfortable and convenient travel with a very good guide.

unforgettable experience - well organised. - very well organised - it was good to be sure of train, bus and entrance to pompeii all arranged and of getting to venue without any worries. Lucas herded us well throughout which involved getting from train station in Naples through streets to the bus (not far but old be easy to get lost when unfamiliar to the area). Lucas was attentive to our needs and questions. He also gave us an overview of the history of Pompeii on the bus. Pompeii itself was amazing a truly unforgettable experience.

great experience - Lucas met us at the station ( if you don’t know the station give yourself an extra few minutes as it’s very large ) with a smile - which didn’t stop all day. even though the train was delayed he kept us updated and then helped us navigate the transfer to the coach. He gave us lots of information with a grin and plenty of jokes. pompeii itself was fantastic but the comfort of knowing we would get there and back with a guide was brilliant. we really enjoyed our time with him and would recommend

Easy and great time - Easy to find our guide at Termini. We took the train to Napoli which was fast and smooth. Then he guides us to a private bus and drops us off at the entrance. We had about five hours there on our own and it was amazing. Eat at the cafe inside Pompeii. Then a quick trip back to Rome. Great experience and we booked the night before. Totally worth it

Pompeii Express Day Trip with Lucas - Our family of 3 adults were glad we booked the Pompeii Express Day Trip. Our guide, Lucas, met us at Rome's train station, and safely got us on to the high speed train to Naples. Once there, he guided us to the waiting bus that took us to the Pompeii site. We can't imagine having to make that connection on our own. Although our trip did not include a guided tour of the ruins, Lucas did provide background information while we were on the bus, and supplied us a detailed map. We had Rick Steves' guidebook for Italy, which provided the additional context we needed. We had 5 hours to explore Pompeii, which was sufficient time to see the key sites plus the 3 villas.

Pompeii on our own - It's a long walk to catch the coach in Naples. Our coach, the 2nd coach, was late and used 20+ minutes of our tour.

Well organised trip - Train and bus travel for a large group well negotiated in busy areas by guide Fabrizio. We grouped together with some others to have a guided tour of Pompeii - our guide was quite entertaining and full of interesting information. We kept on schedule and got back to Rome at exactly the planned time.
