- The hike up to the crater of Vesuvius requires a good level of general fitness. The walk is uphill at a 14 degree angle and takes roughly 20 minutes.

Limoncello stop is a scam. - The tour is great, Julius and Anthony great guys.
Be aware LIMONCELLO STOP is a scam you will find the same at the airport for less.

Fabulous day trip with a Great Guide - Laura was a fabulous narrator of Italian history as we rode the bus to Vesuvius and Pompei. She was a great communicator, full of interesting information. A top-notch guid -- and the trip was well worth waking up early for!

Very Educational - start off getting a the bus very early in the morning, John our tour guide did a fantastic job explaining the city to us on the way out of town, we stopped at a shop to get coffee, I got tea and it was a bit over priced and too hot burned myself, then continued to Pompeii, we were then transferred to a tour guide and he was very good, me and my buddy got lost cause we were taking pictures, got back to our hotel around 830pm was very nice not having to plan a whole day

Long day that is well worth the trip. - Pompeii and Positano in one day was tiring but so worth it since we were limited on time. Both are a must see. Valentina was a great guide and the restaurant she recommended was a bit of a dump (bathrooms were horrifying and patio furniture all broken and covered in dirt) but somehow they had THE BEST Margarita Pizza we have ever had. Traffic coming back was awful but it Positano was well worth the trip out there. Pompeii should be on everyone’s bucket list!

A very organized tour - A very organized tour.. with experienced toru guides and a very carefyl bus driver that took care of the whole group. The time managed in the palces visited is maximed to make the most of it. The places are very beautiful and pompeya extremely interesting. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our trip from Rome to... - Our trip from Rome to Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii was incredible! Climbing Mount Vesuvius offered stunning views, and exploring Pompeii was a fascinating dive into history. The tour was well-organized, and our guide was knowledgeable, bringing the ancient ruins of Pompeii to life with detailed stories. We covered a lot in one day, and the experience was both educational and memorable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see these historic sites!

Pack your own lunch and portable charger! - Francesco was a great driver, kept us on schedule despite a 35-40 min delay on the road due to some crash / fire that caused the roads to be blocked / traffic to be slowed.
Pompei was a great visit, would recommend to folks to do this tour.
I was a bit disappointed in the Amalfi portion of the tour - it's advertised as 2 hours in Positano, however that includes a shuttle to and from the main bus to get to the beach, and a 15 min walk to the beach with the group. In total you get 1 hour 5 mins of solo time (as that was what we got). I suspect this was reduced because of our road delays and the tour guide Viviana wanted to get us back on time, but it felt rushed in Positano.
Lunch was a bit chaotic - In pompeii you get divided into 2 groups split across 2 pompeii guides, so each guide group might come back at a different time. Our group of 25 arrived back at 2:02 and we were told to be back in the bus by 2:15. 13 mins for lunch feels a bit short, as you need to use the restroom, buy a souvenir and buy lunch in that 13 min window, so that you can eat in the bus. Our earlier rest breaks for coffee was also 15 mins while going to pompeii and 15 mins in the evening on the way back.
Advice to travellers - you will take a million photos and its a long day, so carry a portable charger. The bus doesn't have usb ports or charging ports, and most of our bus was low on battery. The driver francesco was very kind and allowed me to charge my phone near his phone outlet, as I was down to 10% with just taking photos and not using my phone for anything else that day.
Would also recommend packing your own lunch and snacks - pompeii and positano are beautiful. Maybe next time i'll base myself at Naples do be able to do it more justice and more time spent there than an hour in positano.

Pompeii and Positano - Fantastic tour guide Patrizia, and driver too. Absolutely lived Pompeii and our guide was very knowledgeable.
Positano was beautiful but being out of season, no cafes, restaurants or shops were open, so really not worth the visit at this time of year.

Long day, Pompeii, very crowded and rushed, the soup is nice. - The best part was meeting other people. Other than that, it was very crowded and a lot of bus time and quite rushed at Pompeii.
