Excellent Private Day Trip! 10/10! - This private day trip was EXCELLENT! Exactly what we wanted in a private day tour! Our driver and our Pompeii guide were WONDERFUL! So professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Pompeii was amazing and Sorrento was gorgeous. Plus, we had the best pizza we’ve ever had in our life! I think the only thing we would’ve done differently is after our private tour of Pompeii, we would’ve liked to explore on our own for maybe 30 minutes. (We probably could have done that if we asked but didn’t think about it until we had already left). It’s the perfect day activity! A little tip- we did this our first day in Rome so we were tired and slept most of the long drive, which helped pass the time. 10/10!

Best Rome to Pompeii Tour - We enjoyed our tour very much. Our driver Alexa and tour guide Daniela were very knowledgeable, professional, and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Pompeii, Naples, and Sorrento all in one day. It was an amazing experience and tremendous value.

Great Experience! - This private tour was worth every penny. Our driver was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He gave us a great lunch recommendation in Sorrento and did a great job getting us home safely, even through a hail storm! Our guide in Pompeii was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history. He answered all of our questions and made the tour so interesting with all of the anecdotes and tidbits he shared. Terrific guide!

Fabulous day in Pompeii and Sorrento! - Fabulous private tour with no stress. The driver picked us up at our hotel, so there was no worry about where to meet him. he drove us in a very comfortable van to Pompeii where we were met by Carmine, a knowledgeable guide who led us through the fascinating ruins. After a few hours there (we were left wanting more time), we drove to Sorrento where we had lunch and browsed the markets and watched people on the beach. After a set amount of time, we were driven back to Rome and dropped off at our hotel! an Amazing day.

Amazing Pompeii - We loved this tour! It was worth every penny. We didn't want to worry about transportation and all the logistics and everything was taken care of. Our driver was amazing and safe. He got us to where we needed to be on time. We met our guide at Pompeii. Her name was Daniella and she was AMAZING! We loved everything she showed us and was so informative. She felt like family.
Then we went to Sorrento and it was beautiful. We had an amazing time. One of our best days in Italy!

Private tour to Pompeii from Rome - Anza was an amazing guide. She was very knowledgeable (being an art history and archeology major in college) not just with Pompeii but also just broadly from Greek to other history and could quickly answer our various questions. Our 7 & 9 year old sons were very entertained and loved her. Luka was a great driver (he gives tours also) and was fun and courteous. Our Mercedes van broke down and had to wait for 3 hours but they dealt with it in a very professional manner.

Hot in Pompeii - The heat. Pompeii was on the top of our list to do a tour outside of Rome. August is the hottest month of the year and perhaps not the best time to visit. Site is fascinating and we had a wonderful informative guide Marianne. Piero our patient and skillful driver had to face the heavy bumper to bumper traffic from Rome to Naples. Kudos to him!
Eating at Trattoria da Emilia on the waterfront was delight. Every dish delicious, fresh and quick. Great trip
