- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers’ full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- ID may be required for entrance (especially for guests under the age of 18). Guests who show up without ID cannot be guaranteed entrance.
- It is forbidden to bring inside the Colosseum: glass, sharped objects, alcohol, spray
- Comfortable shoes are recommended
- In July and August due to the heat the duration of the visit is 2 hours and a half
- Upon choosing our guided tour, you acknowledge and accept that the admission fee to the archaeological sites is 16 euros for adults, accompanied by a 2 EUR booking fee, and free admission ticket for children under 18. The remaining amount is voluntary and includes services provided by skilled licensed guides, headsets, booking fees, and other tour amenities. Our goal is to provide transparency and ensure your understanding of the cost breakdown, allowing you to fully recognize the value of our guided experience.

Meet us at Largo Gaetana Agnesi, the square located on the terrace ABOVE the Colosseum Metro Station. Our staff will be wearing purple T-shirts at the center of the square, in the raised area. (Please note: if you are in front of the Metro Station, please make your way UPSTAIRS.)

Memorable Colosseum Tour - We had this tour booked for months, and visiting the Colosseum was one of the highlights we were most looking forward to on our honeymoon. It’s safe to say it exceeded our expectations — and that was largely thanks to our incredible guide Henry.
From the very beginning, he brought the history of ancient Rome to life with such energy, knowledge, and humor. His jokes and anecdotes weren’t just entertaining — they made the experience memorable and personal. You could tell he genuinely cared about sharing his love for history with us.
What really stood out was how considerate and respectful he was — not just to our group, but to other guides and service staff along the way. That kind of thoughtfulness showed us how genuine and professional he truly is. He created a warm, welcoming environment where everyone felt comfortable asking questions and soaking in the experience.
We’ll always remember this tour as a special part of our honeymoon. Highly recommend!

Fabulous morning at the Colosseo - Our guide was fantastic, great knowledge and she genuinely seemed interested in making sure the group had the best experience. We totally recommend this tour. Everything was so well organised. From the booking, to all of the emails, to the friendly ground crew in the office. A professional and well organised tour group. I wish I had booked more activities through them.

Great tour—a little large of a group - Our tour guide was really great! Very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited and he was very considerate about finding shade for the group on such a hot day. It was a little large of a group (24) for me, but that was my fault for not booking a smaller tour.

Overall nice tour - Overall the tour was great, we saw what we wanted to see. Only reason for 3 stars was because our tour guide was hard to understand and got off topic often. He spoke really fast and his English was good but not great so he was hard to understand at times. And when he got off subject it took away from the tour a little. The sights were wonderful and we would take it again but the guide just needs to refine his delivery a little to make it perfect.

Rude Staff, Disorganized Tour, and a Total Waste of Money - Unfortunately, this was one of the worst tour experiences I’ve had—and I usually love guided tours.
From the start, a male staff member assigned groups by color and handed out tickets. He tried to be funny, but came across as rude and culturally unaware. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional.
One of our tickets had the wrong name, and instead of resolving it, we were told there was nothing they could do. Apparently, this company has no real relationship with the actual venues—a staff member even admitted, “The venues don’t like us.” That alone should be a red flag.
We were pulled aside, told to buy a new ticket and download an app to do the tour ourselves—after already paying hundreds of dollars for a guided experience. We asked if we could just repurchase a ticket online and rejoin the group, but were told no. Then the same staff member told us to “just try to get in anyway.”
So we did—and had zero issues getting in with the original ticket. We even found the group ourselves, which they said would be impossible. And nearly an hour into the tour, we hadn’t missed anything—they were still in the same area.
We rejoined using the guide’s extra headsets, but they kept cutting out. We could barely understand the guide due to the poor audio and thick accent. She also rushed through photo-worthy spots—if you paused for even a second, you’d lose the group in the crowds.
Overall, the tour was chaotic, unhelpful, and not worth the cost. There was no professionalism, no accountability, and no real customer service. I highly recommend choosing a different company.

A horrible tour, worse agency service - If i could give 0 stars i would, tourguide rushed through the crowd and left us, i called the agency 3 times but they said they has no way of reaching the guide, ridiculous, their excuse is that they hire freelancers, they ruined a potentially great part of a trip, would not reccomend

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - SCAM - We had booked a colosseum tour about 3 months in advance of going to Rome. We booked for an early morning Thursday slot and couldn’t wait for it. On the Wednesday evening, we got a call to say the tour guide was sick and what other day suited us to go. We said we could go on Saturday. On the Friday evening, we got a call to say there were no more tickets?? It didn’t make sense as it was changed via a crown tours agent. They asked us could we go the following week but we could not due to our flight home. They offered us a refund but we didn’t want the money, we wanted a tour. I asked the crown tours agent what she was going to do due to the inconvenience caused and she said that she was not charging us the rescheduling fee ( even though we weren’t rescheduling). We ended up doing the tour the day we were flying home. The tour guide spent an hour in the colosseum at most. Although he was an English speaker, there was still a language barrier as it was obviously it was not his first language. He kept repeating himself and the facts that he had learned. He did not tell us we were leaving the colosseum, we were just brought outside. We could not go to the gift shop. I would avoid using this company at all costs. Get to the colosseum early- the tickets are far far cheaper

colloseum - We booked a guided tour of the colloseum on 12 June. It was chaos from the beginning at the meeting point. It was 30 mins late . Our tour guide was the worst ever and gave useless information for an hour.Eventually along with 8 others we left. We complained and they refused a refund. We booked this via Viator and were with them at the Vatican which was great. Avoid crown tours at all costs.

Skipping advertised content - The content of the tours is not as advertised. We did 2 tours with them and they completely skipped parts they said we would see. On one they skipped Saint Peter's Basilica and on the second they skipped the Palentine hill. Do not recommend them.
