You will want to Come Back - Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and explanations provoded by our highly informed guide. We stopped at many places and tried a wide variety of local favorites. It seemed the whole town knew our guide. Loved it so much, we went back the next day for dinner.

Excellent tour - Just finished trestavere evening food tour. Had the most amazing time. Francisco was the ultimate professional guide making the Roman food history come alive. Even in the pouring rain he remained upbeat and positive. 5/5 would recommend

Great tour with Francesco - Did the food tour with my 17 year old daughter. Our guide Francesco was outstanding. His knowledge and insight of the neighborhoods and the history of Italian food was very interesting. He made the tour really fun and feed us like we couldn't believe!! I wish we had done this our first night in Rome as his insights and tips we were able to use the rest of our trip.

Don't be on a diet for this tour! - This was such a fun and yummy tour! Make sure you are hungry on this tour because you eat so much food! We stopped at five different places and got to try so much food. My teenage boys were even full! We did this tour last but I recommend doing it first. It will help to know all the good places to eat when in Rome.

Fantastic Food Experience! - Our tour was also through Italia Tours but was entitled “Eat as the Romans Do: Trastevere Street Food Experience.” I don’t see it listed separately, but It was absolutely a highlight of our trip. Francesco was fantastic, and everyone is still talking about the evening. Unfortunately, the tour was the last evening of our trip, so we didn’t have a chance to return to any of the restaurants/shops. But maybe next time!

My teenager is talking about this tour! ❤️ - Francisco shared his love of food, friends and family with us! It was a good introduction to the area as well. My teenager listened, learned and is remembering!

Excellent Tour That Was The Highlight Of Our Trip To Rome Because Of Our Guide Roberta - This was by far the highlight of our trip to Rome. (And we did most of the typical things, including several other tours, one of which was Vatican City.) The reason this tour was so much fun was more because of our guide, Roberta (or Robi) than it was because of the food itself. Don't get me wrong--the food was great, and there was more than enough of it. We couldn't even think about having dinner that night after all we ate during the tour. But it was really Robi who made the tour the highlight of our trip to Rome. She was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. At one point late in the tour she said something about how she hopes to make the tour more like a friend showing friends around Rome. Ordinarily I would consider that pretty corny, but in this case that really was a perfect and fitting description of this tour. I don't know if or when we will visit Rome again, but if we do, and if Robi is still giving this tour, we will definitely take it again.

It’s an absolute must! - An absolute must when you come to Rome - we tried food in some lovely family businesses, lots of amazing food - the tiramisu is fabulous! It’s a great way to spend a few hours. Our guide was super knowledgeable and gave lots of great tips of where not to eat during your stay !

A very memorable evening! - This was an amazing experience. Our guide picked some really great stops for the best panzerotti I have ever had, great salumiari shop with loads of different cured meats, two kinds of pasta, delicious tiramisu and it ended with great espresso! I don’t eat chocolate, so our guide bought me a gelato, artisanal, not the usual kind you find more often.
Unfortunately, I have forgotten her name, but I will say she was a superb guide!

A must tour to do - A fabulous tour of food, sooo much food, do not eat before doing this you get soo much. Roberto, Robbie, was a fountain of knowledge and took us to some amazing places. Totally worth the money, soo much fun 😁
