Go for it! - Myself and my 13 year old daughter attended. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide Oriel (or Ariel) kept it super well-paced, interesting and with just the right amount of darkness.
Seeing the sights at night was incredible!
Highly recommend.

A great night in Rome. - We had a fantastic experience with this tour. The storytelling was engaging and brought the city’s darker history to life in a way that was fascinating and fun for all ages. Our guide, Alithia, was excellent—knowledgeable, charismatic, and great at keeping everyone involved. Even better, our three kids really enjoyed it, which made the tour a highlight of our time in Rome.

Romes dark side - Due to me being temporarily navigationally embarrassed, we very nearly missed the start of the tour. I messaged the tour operator in a bit of a panic, but our guide Ben replied quickly and kindly said not to worry — he’d wait for us. That level of customer service immediately set the tone.
After arriving a few minutes late, we jumped straight into the darker side of Rome’s history — murders, ghosts, political intrigue, and even the lengths some mothers would go to in order to make sure their sons ended up on the throne.
The storytelling was brilliant and really brought the history to life. There was also a well-timed stop for a beer along the way, and we were shown the cursed steps where the king’s daughter famously rode her chariot over him.
Ben was funny, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable, and he made the whole experience engaging from start to finish. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome — just make sure you know where you’re going… or hope you get a guide as patient as Ben!

The dark side of Rome you won’t find anywhere else! - We did the ghost tour with Ben and it was fantastic. Lots of great stories, great atmosphere and lots of history you won’t find anywhere else! The tour is two hours but certainly didn’t feel like it. Well worth the money. Would totally recommend!

The BEST Ghost Tour in Rome! - Such a fun ghosts and legends tour! We covered good ground and enjoyed the storytelling along the way! Our guide did an excellent job setting the tone - we highly recommend this tour!

Must do when in Rome! - Dark Side City Tours in Rome was an incredibly fun and interesting experience! Instead of the usual tourist stories, this tour dives into the city’s mysterious, creepy, and fascinating past, which made Rome feel even more alive and exciting

Spooky and entertaining - Ivana was an amazing tour guide, incredibly knowledgeable, extremely friendly. Exceptionally entertaining! This was one of the best dark stories_ghost tours I have been on and she is the reason. My partner thoroughly enjoyed himself as well thank you for making his first Rome trip memorable!

Well spun tales of blood - not a ghost in sight! - We always take a city ghost tour as a different way to experience the city and this was one of the better ones. The stories were really well delivered by our enthusiastic Irish guide were a good mix of gruesome historical fiction with a bit of myth. A couple of belters especially the last one. Not really a ghost tour per se and like a lot of these talk of hauntings is a bit tacked on and not substantial. Overall, a pleasant way to walk the city at night with a few well told tales!
