- Piazza della Bocca della Verita - THE HISTORICAL DRIVING-BY On the way to the next stop, your drive is going to be intense and breath-taking. You’ll go by the so-called “Road of the Temples” and over to the current heart of the city with the view of the Palatine Hill and Piazza Venezia with two very important monuments/sites (the so-called “Wedding Cake – or Monument dedicated to the first king of Italy and the view of the sadly famous balcony of Mussolini).

Perfect Day in Rome - My two adult daughters and I had an amazing day tour with Jonathan. He picked us up at our hotel and managed to get us to all of the sights we wanted to see with a great review of all of the Roman history as we traveled. We were so thankful for his driving skills as well on the tiny packed roads! We were dropped off at all of the sites with easy access. We toured the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and stopped at multiple beautiful places for photos with lovely views. We stopped at a lovely restaurant and had a very good lunch as well. Jonathan made us feel like we were traveling with a good friend for the day! We topped off the day with a guided tour of the Vatican with Stephanie. Her knowledge was amazing. We were able to hit all of the major highlights in 2 1/2 hours that we could never have attempted on our own! For anyone who wants to make the most of limited time in Rome I highly recommend this agency! We also used this agency for our airport and cruise ship transfers, and have 2 more tours planned. So I will post more to come!

Rome in a Day Private Tour - On behalf of our entire group (13 people) we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for a fantastic Rome in a Day Tour. Our drivers Clodio and Angelo were friendly and welcoming, professional, safe, informative and extremely accommodating! They provided us a great driving tour with an abundance of local and historical knowledge. And made reservations at a wonderful local restaurant where the food and atmosphere were amazing!
Kat, our private tour guide at the Vatican was also top notch. She was friendly and personable, extremely knowledgeable and provided an extremely enjoyable tour for our group.
We would highly recommend your tour company and these drivers/guides.

Excellent service! - We were a group of 8 that wanted to have a private tour from OUR Italy’s “MUST -VISIT LIST”. After completing our Holy Doors Basilica journey in Rome, we decided to make this into a spiritual journey. After communicating online with Luca, the company manager, he was able to give us the timeline of our schedule and the fees which were payable at the end of each excursion.
We went to San Giovanni Padre Pio for a day. it was a 12 hour long day. the transport van for our group of 8 was comfortable , and our guide Manny, is a true professional, and he is passionate with his job.
Rome Private Excursions also did our arrival transport pick-up from FCO airport to our hotel in Rome. We were picked up by 2 vans to accommodate 8 passengers with luggages.
The coordination of the trip was seamless. What a way to start our Italy vacation!
We just came back from a day trip today from Sorrento and Positano.
We were fortunate to have Manny as our driver again. Another amazing experience. He made us feel safe on the tiny winding roads on the
Amalfi Coast. What an incredible experience with Rone Private Excursions!
I would recommend using this agency if you want a more relaxed, private vacation when visiting Italy.
You will not be disappointed!

Eccellente!! - Luca and his team were very easy to work with, they were very accommodating.
Massimo, our driver, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. We only had 1 full day in Rome and I'm SO happy we chose Rome Private Excursions. We will definitely use them again!

Tour of Rome - Better than we imagined! - Luca and his company set up a wonderful full day tour for 4 of us. We had limited time so it was great! We got to see so much and the guide was fun and friendly! RPE also picked us up and took us to the hotel from the airport the day before and took us from port to hotel the day after! Will definitely book with them again!

Spectacular tour! - This tour was a wonderful way to end our time in Rome. Our driver and guide, Salvatore was so kind and accommodating. My mother in law has mobility issues and brought a portable wheelchair. He ensured she was comfortable at all times and tailored the tour to her needs. He is extremely knowledgeable and we appreciated the amount of history he provided and in such an enthusiastic way.
For the Vatican we choose to have a private guide and I’m so glad we did. Our guide Felvio was wonderful and made the tour so special for my mother in law. She was able make confession in the Sistine chapel and for sure was a surprise and highlight.
I highly recommend this tour company.

Book this! 10000/10, worth every penny - This tour exceeded our expectations tremendously. Very easy to communicate with tour company. We were picked up at the FCO airport in a comfy van with AC, tour guide was very easy to find outside of airport. Our tour guide, Michael, took us to all the Rome hot spots and gave us time to get out and explore. He would have taken us wherever we wanted, but we had no real itinerary. Micheal is from Rome and was so knowledgeable about the city and history. We had skip the line tickets to the Colosseum (definitely do that!). Would 100% recommend to anyone with a short time in Rome and/or to get a lay of the city at the beginning of your Rome stay.
