• Roman Forum - The Roman Forum, known in Latin as Forum Romanum, is a rectangular plaza surrounded by the remnants of once-important government buildings at the core of ancient Rome, near Palatine Hill. Initially a bustling marketplace, it evolved into the political, commercial, and social hub of the city, often referred to by locals as the Forum Magnum, or simply, the Forum.
• Piazza del Campidoglio - (Pass By) This stunning square was designed by the renowned Michelangelo. In the center, you’ll find a replica of the statue of Emperor Marcus Aurelius—his original is preserved in a nearby museum. At the back is the Palazzo Senatorio, featuring its elegant double staircase. Today, it houses Rome’s City Council, and inside, they still keep the old Patarina bell, which the Romans took from Viterbo during a war and used to announce significant events.
• Piazza Venezia / Ancient City - (Pass By) Piazza Venezia is one of Rome’s most famous squares, situated right at the base of the Capitoline Hill. It serves as a major crossroads where five key streets of the city converge. We’ll pause here to capture some stunning photos in front of the impressive Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, also known as the Altar of the Fatherland.
