- Basilica Papale San Paolo Fuori le Mura - Originally constructed over the tomb of the apostle Saint Paul, whose remains lie beneath the main altar, this basilica boasts a valuable bronze door cast in Constantinople in the 11th century. It is adorned with a mosaic frieze depicting portraits of all the popes from St. Peter to Pope Francis.
- Arcibasilica di San Giovanni in Laterano - The Basilica of Saint John Lateran is the first church built in the western world. Known as the Holiest and the Mother of all Churches, it is the Cathedral of Rome and the Pope’s seat as Archbishop of Rome. It holds relics of St. Peter and St. Paul on the main altar, along with remnants of the table where Jesus and the apostles attended the Last Supper.

These majestic buildings preserve precious relics, works of art and tombs of many popes. We will meet at Santa Maria Maggiore, the first church ever to be dedicated to Mary Mother of God. Then a transport will pick us up and take us to Saint Paul outside the walls, where you’ll have the chance of visiting the hidden medieoval cloister. Our tour will end at Rome’s Cathedral of Saint John Lateran, the Head and Mother of all Churches, that also has a beautiful medieval garden. After the tour you’ll have the chance of visiting the nearby Holy Stairs, the very same Jesus stepped on his way to trial in Jerusalem.
