The pizza tasting in a traditional pizzeria was particularly grandiose: Thin, crispy, with fresh ingredients straight from the region – a dream! Orso not only explained the ingredients and baking techniques, but also created a great group atmosphere with funny anecdotes about Roman food culture. On top of that there were more delicious samples that made us wonder. 5 stars without ifs and buts – Orso is the best! Every visitor to Rome should book this tour. Thank you for this highlight day

Eating like the Romans - This was a great way to spend our first evening in Rome. Our guide, Orso, was extremely knowledgeable about everything not just the food. Everything was well organized and the food was excellent. A good cross section of every day foods.

Great local food. - What a fabulous experience this traverse walking tour was. Silvia our guide was a friendly, fun person who walked us around the area, and took us to lots of amazing places to eat. We had suppli, trapezzanni, meat, cheese, fruit and beautiful cake. We were with a lovely group of people which made the day extra special.

OMG! Horrible and Overpriced - This was a standing street food experience which was not expected based on the price. Profit margin was enormous, since we saw all the prices. No napkins were offered , nor water (until asked), where our first stop required us to peel fruit with our hands. Next stop was eating with our hands standing. We then insisted on a table at the next stop, which seemed to be an imposition. Stay away. Also, our guide could not answer basic questions about the product offerings of the shops we went into. So disappointing.
