Art, history, and much more - An amazing tour in the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica!!!
Our guide, so passionate, especially for Michelangelo, guided us through the corridors and chambers of the museums, with stories and facts about the art, life and past.
A wonderful experience, which gave us so much, and willing to learn much more!

We had a great tour of... - We had a great tour of the Vatican Museum. Our guide, Claudia, was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience so much richer than what we would have had without a tour. Would definitely recommend it!

Right amount of time to hit key Rome attractions - Excellent tour of Rome's best! I chose this specific tour because it covered several highlights of Rome in an abbreviated time, since we only had 1 day in Rome overall. The tour guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. My teenager and 10 year old did zone out about midway through, so it may be a bit much if you're bringing kids along.

Nice visit of the Vatican Museum - Great tour of the Vatican. Learn about the history of the Church and the art. Beautiful artwork and stories. Enjoy a small group with our own pace. I wish we can enter the Basilica and have a tour there, a bit disappointed.

Great trip - It was a great tour very informative, much too see, just how you imagined it. Make sure you are on time. If you go to the basilica no shorts above the knees and shoulders covered I saw them take people out the line due to it.

Speak less, more picture opportunities - Great experience seeing as much as we could. Guide spoke too much on topics that didn’t matter. Rather have the chance to see much more and gather pictures than listen about some historical parts that seemed irrelevant.

A hurried tour, with a knowledgeable guide - Our guide George was very knowledgeable and had answers to almost all of our queries related to different artifacts in the muesum or about Vatican. However the tour felt too hurried, we were skipping so many good sections, paintings and artifacts which if got to know about would have been great. If we aksed george about the artifact then and then only he would talk about it. The tour doesn't include St. Peters Basilica even though it say's so. You have to visit the basilica on your own.

Great guide, terrible guidance - Do not use Apple Maps! It takes you to the back of the Vatican the WRONG WAY and the staff at the “help” center does not know how to get you back on the path. We had to re-book despite our best efforts to make it to the meeting point and there was NO REFUND of the original cost of the excursion. That’s more so on Viator for not providing better customer support. We left over an hour before our arrival time and by the time we found the area we were supposed to meet, our group had been gone for 15 min. SOMEONE should have been able to direct us to our meeting point. For a cost of $500, and our willingness to rebook, especially.
Our guide was fantastic. The tour IS rushed, but with over 30,000 people visiting per day on average, I expected a bit of a prodding cattle experience. I wish we had more exposure to the Gardens, as we had particular interest there, but the paths around the Vatican are not easy to navigate. We ended up walking out the individual exit from the Sistine Chapel and couldn’t find our way back to see the Gardens.
Average tour. I’m sure there are much better and no doubt much worse. Our guide’s knowledge of the work was the best part of the tour!

Poor English Speaking Guide! - This was good to get the ticket and skip the line but our tour guide spoke poor English. We passed tours where you could tell that they had strong English speakers or English was their first language. This was not the case on our tour! It was extremely hard to understand her and since it was loud and busy it was very hard to hear. It was unfortunate that we learned very little and couldn’t follow along. We would have been better off buying a ticket and walking through ourselves. We spent quite a bit of money for the experience and were disappointed.
