Memorable tour with no regrets. - The tour was terrific. Our guide gave clear instructions, a ton of information and was able to answer all of the questions from our group members. I would repeatedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome.

Unforgettable experience - The tour was well organized start to finish. Our small group skipped an enormous line and were soon in the midst of history and beauty. Our tour guide was very informative, shared meaningful information regarding the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel and important pieces of historical knowledge. We unfortunately could not attend St Peters Basilica as there was a mass ceremony but could have returned later in the day to do so. Time simply didn't allow. It's my only regret but it was very clear in advance by the tour operator that this was a possibility. Highly recommend this tour

At least when we went on... - At least when we went on a Friday in mid-October, all parts of the Vatican were so busy that it was difficult staying with the group and hearing the tour guide. This is not her fault, but I believe we missed a lot of the context since we could not always hear what she was saying.

It wasn't for me. - Very long, very crowded, very hard to listen to , I don't think it should take 3 hours but I also understand there are many folks that want every detail, It might be worth allowing some to get out early.

Disappointed 🥹 - Ridiculous numbers of people allowed in. We walked around like sardines in a tin. Not a moment to stop and look around. They kept moving us along to avoid bottle necks. Twice the amount of people were allowed in. We paid £100 per person to get in 🙄

Not the best option! - The guide walked way too fast, did not get a chance to see a lot of things. She did not consider the older people in the group. It was exhausting trying to keep up. After the Museums and Sistine Chapel we were led out to Saint Peter’s Piazza and told we could go get in line for the Basilica she was Done. That meant leaving the piazza and going back out onto the street and get in a 2-3 hour line. The money spent on this tour was definitely not worth it. I would not recommend it and feel I deserve at least a partial refund.

Missed out - My friend and I planned out a transit route to attend this tour, giving us 2.5 hours on a route that shouldn’t have taken more than 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, we became delayed in transit and despite our best efforts, missed the start of our tour by 15 minutes. The tour guide was helpful over what’s app chat during this time and suggested we email the company for any further questions. I emailed Tours of Rome to describe the situation and also asked for another possibly tour that day OR a partial refund (the ticket per person was significant). The company denied being able to provide any of this, stating the ticket fee paid for races, guide rentals and fees etc. Extremely disappointing.
