Odda to Holmaskjær (Folgefonna Glacier)

Folgefonna National Park - Participants meet their guide at Tåkheim and embark on a hike through a lush forest, gradually transitioning to a more alpine and rugged landscape. Along the journey, they are treated to breathtaking mountain vistas, refreshing Norwegian mountain streams, and a lunch break by a picturesque mountain lake, where the guide serves lunch and coffee.

As the ascent continues, the terrain becomes steeper and more challenging, with rocky sections and boulder fields leading up to the Holmaskjær cabin. In the evening, participants arrive at the stunning glacier-side cabin, settle into their accommodations, enjoy a warm dinner prepared by the guide, and marvel at the incredible views of the Folgefonna glacier and surrounding mountains.

Folgefonna National Park - On Day 2, participants wake up to coffee, tea, and breakfast at the cabin, with the opportunity to witness a beautiful sunrise over the glacier if the weather permits. After breakfast, the group begins the descent along the same route, taking time to appreciate the scenery, enjoy several breaks, and refill water from fresh mountain streams.

The return hike offers more stunning views of the mountains and fjord landscape before arriving back at Tåkheim in the afternoon.
