Great show - An excellent show informing us of some of the traditions of the Māori people.

John the guide is the best guide we've experienced in new zealand - Great place, we thought the guide John was the best guide we have had in New Zealand the village in well worth visiting

Beautiful and informative - Beautiful voices and an awesome display of culture. The power of the mighty haka was impressive - even with just a small group. Loved it!

Great show - Great show, complete with haka. Pleasant music. The performance was enthusiastic and well organized. Glad we could sit covered.

Cultural Experience, well worth a visit, we enjoyed the performance, and walking around the site, this is a must do - This is a must do experience, we enjoyed the performance, really good to see, we enjoyed the walk around the village, especially walking around the Geothermal pools. It is only 10 mins drive from Rotorua centre, do not miss the chance to se this place, all of the staff were very friendly and informative

Good trip but watch which ticket you buy - Good experience with the Maori show & self guided tour around the village & hot pools. What they don’t advise though is that some areas you can’t go unless with a guide so self guided you can’t get to see the geysers.

Good cultural experience. - Very good to learn a bit about the culture and what it means. Enjoyed the traditional dances and songs. Also able to see some hot springs even just walking up to the cultural centre.

4/5 - Great guides, experience, tour, food, vibe and great performance - just disappointed the gift shop was closed by the time our tour was over as i had seen a few things I wanted to purchase. Overall great just slightly disappointing finish

Light hearted but could be more substantial - The cultural performance had some light hearted moments but I would have prefered to have had a powhiri to welcome us on to the grounds before the performance started.

A complete rip off! - This was our second time visiting. It has gone up in price significantly, with the cultural performance being charged extra. The village is ok but it's an overpriced experience. Wouldn't do it again. We pre-ordered a hangi meal for the next day. We were told to pick it up at 12:30 pm. Were mucked around for a good 20 minutes, with the takeway option clearly being an issue. The meal was a joke! Paid 50 NZD for 2 small pieces of potato, a small chicken drumstick, a piece of beef the size of a chicken nugget and 2 forkfulls of cabbage. The 'dessert ' was a little square of steam pudding. I'm horrified at how tourists are being ripped off! We live in NZ and are aware of prices. You can get a good restaurant meal for less! How on earth are these prices justified? A complete scam.
