Sunset recovery - Beautiful to come here at sunset. Used the spas again whilst on a business holiday in the midst of a training schedule. Really helps me relax and I notice the benefits instantly with an amazing sleep after being here. Looking forward to coming again!

Rest and relaxation with a beautiful view - Staff at reception and in the cafe were really friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home, they explained the beef it’s of the different pools available to bath in. Really clean changing rooms with free lockers and complementary towels. Showers had really nice soaps, shampoos and conditioners. The pools themselves were very relaxing, very scenic and peaceful location and for the busy season it didn’t feel busy at all. Plenty of shaded areas in the pools and drinking fountains so you don’t overheat. Sun loungers were geothermally heated and were so relaxing I fell asleep. Overall would thoroughly recommend if you’re in need of some relaxation with a beautiful view.

Must go in Rotorua. Most relaxing experience of the trip! - Amazing view of Lake Rotorua. Deluxe Lake Spa has best views and five nice pools. Facilities are great. Tranquil atmosphere. Great and relaxing getaway.

Great spa but looking a little unloved - My husband and I tried the deluxe spa. We arrived about 4.30pm. Overall it was good value for money. The five pools with plunge pool were relaxing. The women’s changing rooms were very tired looking and needed an upgrade. Ideally it would benefit from a cool out of the sun seating area. When we arrived it was quiet and relaxing. When we left a coach trip of people arrived and it noisy and chaotic. Fortunately we had finished otherwise it wouldn’t be worth the deluxe name. The changing rooms and water fountains are not deluxe and need an upgrade.

Healing properties lakeside - The geothermal lakeside pools offer amazing healing benefits – they’re fantastic for the skin, easing aches and pains, and providing overall relaxation. While a bit pricey to make it a regular treat, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable and well worth it.

Perfect activity for a rainy day - Nice facility. It had only about 12 loungers for the entire area. Most of them were permanently staffed. There were many young children in this area who had different needs than us.

Polynesian Spa - Disappointed in this experience. We have visited the thermal pools in another location & enjoyed a lot more. The facilities at the Polynesian spa were very good though

Relaxing but getting old - We stayed at the Deluxe Spa due to the beautiful pictures. Buying tickets at the counter is quick and easy. However, the entire plant has become significantly old. The showers and changing rooms were very basic and quite wet or dirty due to the busy operation. The pools are really nice and invite you to relax. However, everything is much smaller than thought and as I said, here too you can see the ravages of time. A visit to the other areas, e.g. when it felt too loud for us, is unfortunately not possible. Conclusion: Certainly suitable for relaxing, but with smears.
