• Redwoods, Whakarewarewa Forest - Visitors to Altitude can look forward to a 2-hour guided exploration in the Redwoods forest of Rotorua. The adventure begins at the Altitude hanger, where participants will gear up and take a brief walk to the training area. Here, guides will provide instructions on equipment usage. Participants will then set off on an exciting journey across jungle bridges and zip lines, all while securely attached to a continuous safety system. The adventure concludes with an optional controlled descent, followed by a return walk to the hanger.

Adjacent to the Treewalk is the new Redwoods Glowworms eco-cave. This fully guided experience takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Redwoods Altitude offers an incredible opportunity to explore more of the breathtaking Redwoods Forest. At a height of 25 meters, participants will embark on an exciting adventure across 25 jungle bridges reminiscent of Indiana Jones!

With a continuous safety system in place, our expert guides will accompany you on the 650-meter loop, prioritizing your safety and comfort.

• Participants should be tall enough to reach 180 cm at the crease of their wrist on the measuring chart.
• Youths aged 13-15 years can participate without adult supervision, but a guardian must complete the disclaimer on their behalf.
• Children aged 10-12 years must be actively supervised by a responsible person 16 years and older.
• Long hair and loose items must be secured.
• Closed toe footwear only.
• No smoking, eating or drinking.
• If a participant shows signs of intoxication, they will not be allowed on the tour.
• All participants must be able to understand and follow instructions.
• All participants to wear appropriate clothing for weather i.e. rain jacket for wet days, warm jacket for cold days.
• Participants must be between 30 kg and 120 kg.
• Must be in good health, without high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, dizziness or other conditions that may be aggravated by the adventure.
