- Following Wai-O-Tapu, we will proceed to the Lady Knox Geyser, which erupts once daily with remarkable punctuality.

- Our tour concludes with a visit to Waimangu Volcanic Valley, the youngest geothermal ecosystem in the world.

Making learning incredibly interesting and fun - We (my husband, 8 year old daughter and myself) did the morning tour with Clive and had an incredible time. The small group is great. Clive was really friendly, accommodating and full of amazing information. Highly recommend.

Great tour and guide from Elite Adventures ! - Awesome! Clint, the guide, was amazing… knowledgeable and shared so much extra on history, wildlife, fauna and plants as we walked through the parks as well as all the volcanic activity and features - a guide in the truest sense of the word ! A fantastic tour that we strongly recommend !

Great geotherms - Clint was very knowledgeable. Small group made it easier to interact and quicker for pick ups! Loved the geothermal activity and geyser demo. Walk through volcanic activity interesting. Would have liked longer there.
Happy times in rotorua.
We would happily book with elite again.

Fantastic half day tour of all things Rotorua geothermal - We had an awesome morning and it was great to be taken on a trip to 3 of Rotorua’s special geothermal features. We learnt a lot from Clive who also picked us up and dropped off, he took us to all the best spots and it was thoroughly entertaining. Thanks for taking such good care of the South Aussies, Clive !

A great tour to see the best geothermal sights of the region - Linda was a great guide who gave us ample information on everything we saw without it being overwhelming.
I would recommend trip more than others as it shows you the most impressive sights of the region. I loved both places we went to. It felt absolutely other-worldly.
Thanks Linda for getting me back on time for my bus! 🙂

A fun morning exploring unique geo-thermal parks in Rotorua - The geo-thermal parks tour is full of interesting sights, as you’ll be taken through a wide variety of thermal pools. The views are stunning, and the thermal parks are a very unique thing to be able to see while traveling in Rotorua.
Our guide Robbie was well-informed and was able to tell us about all the plants, thermal pools, and history in the area.

Unprofessional Guide - Our experience with Linda was disappointing. From the moment we met her, she was extremely cold and unfriendly toward me and my group, making us feel unwelcome. She appeared disinterested and even put out by our presence. When I addressed this with the company, they apologized but incorrectly stated that Linda’s rudeness was due to us being late—when in fact, we arrived exactly at the scheduled time provided in our email. Linda was early, not us.
Regardless of any misunderstanding, there is simply no excuse for treating guests so rudely. A guide’s attitude sets the tone for the entire experience, and unfortunately, this left a negative impression at the start of our day trip. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously to ensure future guests receive a warmer and more professional welcome.
