It was a good memory with a lot of pictures - I had a great day guided by Paul.
I know many Japanese feel uneasy about touring in English, but both Paul's English and Finnish's English are easier for Japanese to hear (compared to American and Australian English). I guess it's because Finnish has many vowels and basically romanizes the alphabet. He seemed to be very careful about that and spoke slowly and plainly. Even after a quarter of a century without using English since I took the university entrance exam, I managed to make it.
I especially loved the story at Husky Farm, where I could feel the staff's love for the dogs. This husky farm is far from the village of Santa Claus and central Rovaniemi, so it's hard to get there on your own.
Reindeer sledding was so slow, the contrast with dog sledding was interesting. I think even small children can feed the demure reindeer without fear.
The Northern Lights viewing was also a good experience. Even if you can't see the Northern Lights, you can still see the full starry sky if it's clear. It was on a level that was hard to see in Japan.
In mid-March, it was observed at minus 10 degrees Celsius, although it was almost windless. I didn't buy any special winter clothing like climbing winter mountains, so I wore layers of winter clothes that are commonly sold in Japan, but I managed to survive. It was the toes that were the coldest, so I should have stuck them there.
Paul's highly accurate app for predicting the northern lights? Referring to the above, he was quick-witted by waiting in the car when he could not see.
The whole organisation was really good and the people were soo nice and they try their best to give you unforgettable moments... Then head to Santa Village at night, where the lights are beautiful. It's difficult to go to night on your own, so I'm grateful to be able to take you.
And the pictures are amazing!
I'm worried about giving my phone to someone else to take a picture, or putting it away from my phone to take a timer photo, but Paul took it on his phone and sent it to me via Air Drop.
It was the only day during my trip that I had a photo with my companion.
He even filmed me riding a dog sled and reindeer sleigh.
Also, for the Northern Lights shoot, we tried putting in a long exposure app, but I lost it because I didn't have a tripod. Paul's photos not only showed the aurora borealis beautifully, but also clearly captured our expressions together.
If you have a day of free time in Rovaniemi, I highly recommend you join this tour.

Great experience and a lovely guide! - Everything was perfect. Our tourguide Tirthankar Paul was lovely. He messaged us a day in advance to confirm the booking and pick-up. We were even able to switch up the pick-up location the night before! Paul picked us up, gave us some complementary sweets to start the day and went with us through the itinerary of the day. He drove us to the huskyfarm and provided us with the necessary information before we we're handen over towards the hostess of the huskyfarm. Before and during the Huskyride, Paul happilly offered to take pictures for us and even surprised us with video footage during both the husky and the reinddeerride. He also didn't mind a bit of a chat and answered our questions as I always like to chat up with a guide. After the Huskyride, Paul drove us to The Santa Clause village and toured us around the village towards the reindeerguide, here he also took care of everything getting us entrance tickets and providing us with all the info needed. After the ride, we went to Santa's pet (again everything taken care of by Paul) and in the afternoon we separated ways. Paul told us, he's be picking us up later that night between 7.30/8.00 p.m. for the aurora Hunt, but he would text us around 5 p.m. which he did. At 8 p.m. he picked us up at our airBnB and off we were for the aurora Hunt. Paul knew several locations and had some tips as to where the higher possibilities of seeing the northern lights would be. Unfortunately, as much as Paul tried we were not Lucky to see the northern lights that night. But I have to give it to Paul, he really tried! And gave us also some beautiful photogenic places to take pictures, even without the nortern lights. He took as to a beautiful spot in the woods, where he made a fire in a fireplace to keep us warm at night. And this experience alone was absolutely lovely. We had a great time. The next day, chances of the northern lights were much higher and we revisted these places with succes!! As we got to see an AMAZING dancing show of the auroras. Thanks to Paul for showing us these locations. Also, Paul did send us a message the next day, that he was seeing the auroras, so that was also an extra lovely thing for him to do!

Wonderful taste of Finland - David was a wonderful guide, we had a great time on our trip. He went out of his way to make our experience extra special. He brought hot tea, cookies and marshmallows to roast in the Kota while waiting for Auroras. Epic day.

Great day - We participated as a family with 3 kids (15,13,10 years old). It was great! The organization worked great. We were only 8 people in total. The rides with the Huskies were a wonderful experience, short of course, but still very nice! A lot of time afterwards to cuddle with the dogs. We had the impression that the dogs are in good hands and like to do their job. Of course, this is all very touristy and commercial, but that should also be clear to all guests. The local guides were very nice and very affectionate towards their dogs. The tour with the reindeer just fun. In the evening, unfortunately, due to the weather, we did not see any aurora borealis. It was still nice. We sat by the campfire and our guide took us to a beautiful river where we took a short walk in the snow, in the dark. Raphi our guide was great! Totally relaxed, lots of info, very sympathetic and strives to give us a great time. Really great experience for everyone!!!

Paul goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good time - Paul goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good time. We really enjoyed that trip and Paul is very knowledgeable about Finnland and Rovaniemi. He also takes good quality photos of you enjoying the activities. A pro tip: before booking a trip - make sure that aurora forecast is good and remember that sleds, if there is a fresh snowfall - the sleigh will go slow. This was our last day in Finnland and my family had a good time, even though we didn't see the aurora. The finnish winter is amazing ❤️
