The Auttiköngäs nature trail is a stunning 3.5 km loop trail situated just an hour from Rovaniemi. Participants hike to the top of a small fell, where a breathtaking view of the valley below awaits. The journey continues to a shelter beside a frozen river, where a campfire is built, and a light lunch is prepared.

The trail culminates at the Auttiköngäs canyon, which is part of the larger canyon system that includes the renowned Korouoma valley. The highlight is the impressive 16-meter-high waterfall, which flows powerfully even in freezing temperatures.
