Sleds and huskies - Great experience. Very kind staff, beautiful huskies that you can cuddle. At the end they also introduced us to the young huskies in training.

A true communion with nature - We joined Arctic GM for the Drive Your Own Husky Team and BBQ experience out of pure curiosity, and it turned into a great moment of our trip. Driving the sled is surprisingly easy — the dogs do most of the work. You mainly need to stay attentive and keep enough distance between the different teams, as dogs from separate teams can get a bit competitive. Within each team, however, the dogs are incredibly affectionate, and interacting with them is a real pleasure. Running alongside them on the uphill sections adds a physical and emotional connection that makes the experience even more engaging. Our musher, Dave, is a true passion-driven professional. Originally from Canada, he owns around 170 dogs and knows every single one of them. He explained the basics of sled driving very clearly, with a strong emphasis on safety, and patiently answered all our questions about the dogs, their training, and their lives. The ride itself — around 6 to 10 km — is magical. The silence of the sled gliding through the snow, the stunning landscapes, and the feeling of being fully immersed in nature create something very special. It feels raw, authentic, and deeply calming. The BBQ was the only slightly disappointing part: simple pre-prepared hot dogs, which felt a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the experience. The activity is also somewhat expensive for the actual time spent on the sled, though the overall quality largely compensates for it. In the end, what remains is a rare feeling of communion with nature, driven by extraordinary animals and guided by genuine passion. An experience I would recommend.

It could have been better - Experience itself 'very exciting, the animals seem to be cared for very well and the local staff friendly and capable. The location immersed in the beautiful woods. As for the experience in its entirety ‘in short. Value for money 'exaggerated. A guide like this, the trip should have lasted 4 hours instead and 'lasted two and a half hours poor. The tour a half hour. After the tour we entered a not very heated and rather dark hut, where they prepared hot dogs cooked on a stove. I expected much more for the price paid.
