Before embarking on the safari, you’ll receive comprehensive instructions on safely driving the sled. Then, it’s time to jump in and embark on a 5-kilometer husky ride, lasting approximately 35 minutes. You have the option to drive the husky team yourself or relax as a passenger — either way, you’ll be captivated by the breathtaking winter landscapes of Lapland and the exhilarating power of the huskies.

After the ride, our return transportation will bring you back. This experience blends the tranquility of nature, a hint of adventure, and the authentic Lapland atmosphere — ideal for solo travelers, couples, and families alike.

Participants can choose to drive their own husky team or relax and enjoy the ride as the sled smoothly travels along a picturesque three-kilometer trail through snow-covered forests. Prior to the ride, visitors will explore our welcoming kennel, meet our joyful huskies, and gain insights into their lives from our knowledgeable guides – all within a relaxed, leisurely, and genuinely warm setting.

This 35-minute experience is crafted for those eager to connect closely with Lapland’s nature and animals, while ensuring comfort and safety. It is suitable for all ages and is an ideal addition to any winter holiday, whether traveling alone, as a couple, or with family.

• Husky rides can be physically demanding, and participants may be exposed to vibration and physical strain. For this reason, husky safaris are not recommended for pregnant women. Important information about the safari: The husky safari lasts approximately 20 minutes. Children ride in the same sled with adults (max. 2 adults + 2 children per sled). One participant drives the sled while the other rides as a passenger. For safety reasons, the driver cannot be changed during the safari. Product may be cancelled or rescheduled if the group size is smaller than 2 persons Please remember to dress warmly, clothing is not included in the activity.

Kindly wait outside at the agreed location for the guide to pick you up. You can also arrive directly at our meeting point: Lapland Royal Adventures Office, Maakuntakatu 31.
• There is a restaurant at our activity site where you can take a break and enjoy a meal at your own expense.
