• Korouoma the L - Korouoma is a fracture valley in the bedrock that is millions of years old. At its center, it forms a breathtaking gorge that descends over 100 meters below the surrounding landscape. It is a prime location for ice climbing in winter but offers stunning beauty throughout all seasons.
  During the summer and fall, visitors may encounter a wealth of wildlife and plant life, along with breathtaking views of the Finnish landscapes. Keep an eye out for naturally delicious berries and mushrooms as well!
  The varying altitudes can be somewhat challenging, with the fitness level rated as easy to moderate. The entire hiking trail (30km) offered by Korouma is considered demanding, but this day trip will follow the easier, nationally acclaimed ~5km hiking trail. If you can manage walking up and down, you can enjoy this easier hike. At lunchtime, your guide will start a fire for a light BBQ. Make sure to charge your cameras and get ready to capture the beauty of Korouma Canyon’s nature.
  On the return journey to Rovaniemi, there will be a stop in another protected forest area, where there will be an opportunity to admire the stunning Auttiköngäs falls.

• The minimum number of participants for each activity is 2 adults. Single traveller could join an existing group, or choose to pay for 2 adults’ price.
• Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and shoes according to the weather. Raincoats and rubber boots are recommended on rainy days.
• Duration includes the transfer time for all the group members. The pick-up service is included from the listed locations. If your hotel or location is not listed among the pickup points, please contact us (the supplier) or the platform to check availability.
• Failure to participate in the safari due to missed meeting time or meeting point will not be refunded.
• Please let us know in advance if you have special dietary requirements. (Eg: vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.)
