Please note: During the summer, husky and reindeer rides are unavailable due to warm temperatures. Rides typically commence in November. Prior to this, the itinerary will be slightly modified to include other activities such as husky cuddles and a guided farm tour.

Experience Lapland - Great excursion! Driver was friendly and accommodating. At each spot you’ll get to visit with the animals . You’ll feed the reindeer & go for a short sleigh ride; same with huskies - take a quick sleigh ride, then visit pet the dogs. Then the farm guides give a short talk on the reindeer / huskies while you enjoy a hot juice and snacks. Santa’s village is a quick guided tour and then free time to explore at your leisure. Visit Santa, send a post card, grab lunch ( reservations strongly recommended), and grab some souvenirs. Overall a great experience .

Magical Experience - I had such a great time. The sleigh rides with the reindeer and the huskies were so much fun. Santa village is magical. Wish I had more time to walk around and shop in the Village.

Wonderful tour! - We really enjoyed our tour, thanks to our wonderful guide Reut! She is so kind and took care of us from start to finish of the tour. She also took a lot of nice photos and made sure we have memories to keep from the visits to the huskies and the reindeer ride. All in all, this tour was amazing largely because of our guide Reut!

Great tour guide, but package was too pricey - Reut was really kind and helpful throughout the tour, making it a pleasant experience for us. She planned the trip really well and made sure we were in queue in time for both rides!

Too expensive activity not worth your money - Just the Santa village. Husky ride is ok but could have just the ride to have more hours & no more tour with the husky farm too much time wasted. Reindeer sledge is such a joke. I had that experience in Alta, Norway that was far best experience and real snow. Real not not like the pulled by the person😅🤣

Overall dissapointing - It's only 10 mins from Rovuniemi so easy to plan yourself by taxi.Its a hugely expensive trip that you can do cheaper yourself.the reindeer ride is pleasant,the husky ride short but great.
The major dreadful bit is meeting Santa .
My grandchildren though they were going to Lapland to meet the real Santa.Instead they queued for an hour to have no conversation at all,just have a photo taken the cost 40 euros to buy.wgst a ripoff,and now they don't believe any more .Very sad and very greedy Don't bother with this part so don't bother with the trip,do it yourself.

Scam, I don't recommend it - Honestly too expensive for what it is. The only good thing is that they pick you up from your hotel and take you by car to Santa Village... from there the guide tells you a couple of curiosities and already, the reindeer ride is in the park itself, which costs 25€ and you have to queue anyway, we were so long there that we could not go to the huskies farm to know the story and that we were told so we lost the tour of the huskies, we could only go on the sleigh with them which the price is like 35€, we were not invited to the hot drink so a scam... because paying 200€ when it doesn't really cost even 100€... so as advice you see on your own... the bus to Santa Village is 4€.
The only good thing was the guide Reut, it was a love, very friendly and always attentive, thank you❤️

A disaster and complete rip off. - This tour is a complete rip off. The write up said a Husky and reindeer ride. No mention if it is too hot these rides can not take place. When we got to the Husky enclosure they would not accept Viators credit card. It had been banned due to bad advertising. We had to pay another 60 Euros to get in. Our guide whose English was very poor rang the agent and we were promised a full refund. Viator have only refunded $80 Australian dollars which doesn’t cover the extra 60 Euros. They have said it is the end of the matter. The tour was over $700 Australian dollars for the two of us plus the extra 60 Euros. I write to Viators most days but I am sure they have blocked my emails. It was a gift that I requested from our 2 children for my 70th birthday and it just leaves me with a terrible memory. Viators also promised the other young couple on the tour a full refund but they won’t have received it either. I would never book with VIATOR again. Consumers beware.

Viator Santa Claus, the Village,Husky and Reindeer Tour RIP OFF - This tour is the biggest rip off of all times. Features were Husky and reindeers rides. Neither happened as was too hot for the animals but doesn’t state that anywhere. Had to pay an extra 30 Euros each to get into the Husky park as they had blocked Viators credit card. The agent in Helsinki guaranteed a full refund but we have only got back $80 Australian which doesn’t even cover the extra. They guaranteed an English speaking guide. He was nice but his English was very poor. Just catch the bus there and pay for what is available. Works out so much cheaper. I am continually emailing Viator now but they just ignore us. Ending up costing about $760 Australian dollars for nothing. It was a 70th birthday gift from my children and they have given me bad memories. I will never use Viator again and warn others about them. I would even now accept half the cost as a refund but they say it is the end of the matter. Just not acceptable

The positives point was... - The positives point was our guide..he was on time and friendly. And his English was very good.!!
The cost of the trip..wasn't value for money..we got a 4 minute ride..on the Reindeer and husky rides. And 15 minutes in the husky pen. Then a lift back..wouldn't recommend this. As you can get a taxi both ways..and pay for those tickets directly from the park for a lot less!!
