Lapland.. Santa’s village, reindeer’s and husky rides for the whole family - This was an all round memorable experience. Rasa was informative, reliable, punctual and fun. He took great photos for us for our keep sake. He picked us up from our accommodation in Rovaniemi and he showed us around Santa’s village. He met us back at the meeting point after 3 hours then took us to the reindeer park for our reindeer and sleigh ride. He stayed with us there, then took us to the huski and sleigh ride. He took great photos and videos for us for our keep sake and sent them to us. He was a very friendly tour guide and extremely helpful. He was polite and very patient. We are very grateful for his help and his service during our time in Rovaniemi. We would highly recommend him to anyone who is wanting to do this tour. Thank you Rasa! This is highly recommended when visiting Santa Claus Village! - Driver Yaya is the best. It was a great memory for me to have fun and talk with my 9-year-old son. Thank you for your transportation. The tour is very organized in time. Meeting with Santa, husky rides, reindeer and more were all covered and I had plenty of free time in Santa Village.

Memorable tour - We had a great experience with Rasa who was our guide for Santa Village, Raindeer ride and husky ride. He made sure we were informed about each activity and made sure that we didn't have to wait long in the queue. He took our photos as well. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend doing it with Lapin Taivas

Fairy day - Great experience, the guide picked us up at the foot of our air bnb but we shared the van and day with another family. I find it expensive for the experience because each of the sleigh rides lasts 5min. It’s more the waiting to spend with the other available groups that requires as much time. (and it’s not the tour operator’s fault ) so plan to keep warm to wait for your passage in the sleds. If you buy each walk directly from the farms it will cost less but what you pay is the guide that passes you quickly instead of waiting for the large groups to pass. The guide was a great help and attentive to our needs. You can book with them with your eyes closed , they are reliable and friendly. The atmosphere was there and various tips for our stay were provided by Yahia. Thanks to him.

Good tour - That of the things included they skip the appetizer and that the activity ends around 14 and you have to plan the meal

Do More Research Before Booking - So in total you pay for a driver and rides the rides were incredibly sad. There’s no education on the animals or land. There’s no festive vibes on the way to the village. If you have kids they will be bored. Our guide must have been newer and didn’t know information like where to go or where to shop except in Santa clause village as if he was not told. He was also far too political for me on a day that was about cheer and me escaping politics. The VIP van is crazy way to put it. It was clean and smelled nice, that’s it. I’d rent a car or take the city bus next time. The van should have had Christmas cheer and music there was none. As for the rides I’m unsure how kindly they treat the dogs at the dog sled place. As someone that works with and raises dogs the body language of them was sickening. Their tails were down the whole time (even when workers would come up to them, people they should know and love) they did not seem excited to be there. They were shivering cold because I’m pretty sure they are not actually built for the weather. When asking the person steering the ride their ages she was very vague on them. Which tells me she does not care to know or answer. The people were kinda quick and rude they seemed more interested in the money than in the experience. There were dogs in cages that seemed terrified of people. The two closest wouldn’t come up to the gate at all. Out of the 4 I saw one was willing to be touched not pet. The other in the cage with it seemed panicked. For the reindeer rides we were told not to feed the working ones because their stomachs were different when others. When people did they were not stopped. The workers would watch them eat and ignore it. It was overly icy there was no gravel or anything put down to stop you from sliding. I’m strong and from a climate colder than this and even I had trouble not slipping. Overall this tour is a private ride not a tour and the rides could have been done elsewhere. Wish they I’d have known my options before booking, it was a late decision.

Skip the Tour, Save your $ for the Village - Santa's Village was wonderful, but this tour was completely unnecessary. Our money would have been better spent on a taxi to/from and activities at the Village. Our initial guide bailed on our group, leaving us waiting for an hour in -10 weather with no communication. The company failed to secure access to the Reindeer Farm Tour, and offered only partial replacement options. A partial refund was provided, but did not cover the delta of what was purchased vs. failed to deliver on the list of inclusions/purchase expectations.
