A highlight of our trip - The visit to the reindeer farm was a beautiful and special experience. We had the opportunity to get to know the animals, feed them and then go for a walk together with the reindeer.
The local people were very friendly, open and took a lot of time to answer all questions about the animals and Finland in general. Particularly positive is the great focus on the welfare of the animals - you immediately notice that they work here with a lot of responsibility and heart.
An absolutely recommendable visit, which we would recommend at any time!

Magical, authentic, and memorable experience - Juho and his family have been running the reindeer farm for generations, and it was clear that they genuinely care for each reindeer's well-being. Walking a reindeer under Juho's guidance was truly one of the most magical experiences of my life. Juho's mother welcomed us with her homemade blueberry juice, treating us like her own special guests. We felt fortunate to hear about her life experiences, stories, and perspectives. We spent three unforgettable hours at the farm and returned to Rovaniemi with memories that will last a lifetime.

Perfect cozy experience - The best experience feeding and walking reindeer with the kindest family. It wasn't touristy, which we appreciated. We had homemade pancakes and blueberry juice waiting for us by the fire, and enjoyable conversation all around. Highly recommend!

I Fell in Love with This Place❤️🔥🫶🏻🇫🇮 - Thank you for an unforgettable experience on your farm! 🫶🏻The trip to the farm from Rovaniemi, feeding the reindeer, walking with one of them, homemade blueberry juice and a pancake with homemade jam was amazing and atmosphere was magical. I felt like home. Despite my poor English, we talked for about an hour in the cottage with fire. The owners of the farm are very nice and friendly. We learned a lot of interesting things. Too bad about my English. :/ Thank you very much and we wish you many satisfied clients. I believe that in 5 years this trip will be just as pleasant and not very touristy. Yours reindeer are cute. Fell in love. ❤️🔥🫶🏻🇫🇮

Brilliant ethical family farm - Honestly just book! This was an amazing experience with such lovely people. An ethical family farm. You won’t be disappointed.
The views are magical and you will feel like you have just stepped into a winter wonderland without all the commercialisation.

The coziest reindeer experience - The reindeer farm visit and walking tour must be the best tour we’ve ever booked. It was absolutely magical. We don’t know what was better; the adorable reindeer that you get to learn about, feed and then walk or the family behind the tour. They served us homemade pancakes and hot homemade blueberry juice while we were warming up around fire in a kota. It was incredible to talk to them and learn about their way of living. The tour felt very unique and personal which we loved. We would absolutely love to visit again and 100% recommend this tour to everyone!

Experience on a real family farm - An authentic family farm where dozens of reindeer are cared for to feed, hear their story and warm up around a fire with delicious tea and pancakes. The family is very kind, both the parents and the son, the guide, who will also take you for a walk around with a reindeer. Real and authentic experience, highly recommended!!

Visit of the farm - Great experience! The guide accompanied us very well and we were able to exchange with his parents very warm. You can really see that reindeer are treated well. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful authentic experience - What a fantastic tour! I cannot recommend this enough if you want a more authentic experience with reindeer and the people who herd them. Juho and his family are so warm and welcoming and knowledgeable, and his dad has been herding reindeer for 50 years, so they are quite authentic. Many other options I saw for reindeer experiences around Rovaniemi seemed quite commercial, with large groups of people being pulled on a sleigh for a few minutes. I wanted something more authentic, and that is exactly what I got. I got to walk around the farm and help feed the reindeer, of course taking as many pictures as I want. Then warm up by the fire and Juho’s mom made me a gluten free pancake with homemade jam, which I really appreciated. After that, we took their friendliest reindeer on a walk in the untouched forest, which was quite a wonderful and beautiful experience. A handful of other reindeer followed along with our walk as well. I enjoyed that the reindeer get to just do what they want, and I liked seeing them in their natural habitat. Afterwards we again warmed up by the fire and we all chatted, learning about the reindeer and what it is like to herd them, and generally about life in this area. I cannot recommend enough if you are looking for a more authentic, less commercial experience.

Rovaniemi Reindeer Farm visit and walking - From when our host picked us up until we arrived back in Rovaniemi over three hours later everything about this tour was authentic. On the drive to the reindeer farm, our host told us about the history of his family's reindeer farm, what we could expect from our visit and spoke to us about the laws governing reindeer herding. When we arrived at the reindeer farm, the reindeer gradually approached looking for food. Our host demonstrated and explained how to hand feed the reindeer. Being able to stand in amongst the reindeer herd and hand feed them was very memorable. Our host's parents greeted us while we were feeding the reindeer and when we got cold, we were welcomed into a small hut where hot drinks, hot food and a roaring wood fire awaited us. We spent time in conversation with the reindeer farmers learning more about how they look after the reindeer. After warming up, we walked through a private secluded forest leading one of the reindeer. We followed the reindeer tracks through the deep snow in the forest and stopped occasionally to listen. The forest was completely silent. The only noises came from us and the reindeer that we were leading. This was a fantastic experience and so unique from anything offered by any other tour operator in Rovaniemi. We highly recommend this memorable tour to anybody who is seeking an authentic reindeer experience.
