Your guide will pick you up in the morning and drive you 2 hours from Rovaniemi through the Arctic wilderness. When you reach your destination, it’s time for a 4-kilometres-long hike in the national park. Your guide will take you to the best spots where you can admire the beauty of Arctic nature. Most likely you will have a chance to observe stunning snowy giants and unique scenery typical for Riisitunturi.
As you hike through this winter wonderland, your guide will keep an eye on wildlife and teach you more about nature. Refreshments and a typical Finnish campfire snack will be served around the open fire to keep you warm. Lunchtime is also a great moment for the guide to share knowledge and answer all your questions.
The excursion lasts around 9 hours, including transportation, hiking and time around the fire. You will be back in Rovaniemi around 17.00.
