After hotel pick-ups from Pula and Medulin, you’ll be taken on a historical journey where the Istrian Peninsula of Croatia resembles its neighboring country, Italy. Over the course of 8 hours, you’ll visit the hillside town of Bale, delve into Rovinj, often referred to as ‘Little Venice,’ relish an Istrian lunch in Grizini and plunge into over 2,000 years of history in Porec. Really enjoyable trip to... - Really enjoyable trip to see another part of Istria, from the tourist resorts of Porec and Rovinj, to the lesser know Bale. Mauro was an excellent guide, approachable and full of regional knowledge.

Amazing day full of hidden treasures. - What an amazing trip. Highly recommend. Mauro and Andrea took amazing care of us. Very knowledgeable guide and lunch was a special treat if local cuisine.

Great experience - We had a really nice day with the tour. Our tour guide Barbara and Daniel looked after us very well. Daniel was. A great driver being local he was able to avoid the summer traffic jams and our pick ups were on time at each point 👍 Barbara was a great guide giving information along the way not too much on the bus but just enough , then at the three stops we learnt enough information to get a quick gasp of the history of each town. Guides are invaluable…we come a long way so it’s nice to learn a little history and about the region . Thankyou for a great day out. The meal /lunch at the small family restaurant was delicious and we were so happy to enjoy local cuisine…Thankyou to the Familja Ferlin …delicious! Hvala to all for a memorable day.

Highly Recommend This Tour - Visiting the villages and towns on this tour was a great experience. The tour guide, Val, was so knowledgeable and fun to listen to with the history and stories she shared. She was respectful and polite and overall awesome! We had a great lunch in Grizini (sp?) and loved Ranji and Porec. This was a worthwhile tour and a good value for what you pay.

Full day but very enjoyable! - Visiting Porec and Rovinj were very high on my list. The village of Bale/Valle was a plus as well as the fantastic traditional lunch in Grzini.
Our guide was excellent describing all the major landmarks. It was a very full day but I’m so glad I booked this excursion.

A little more time please! - We enjoyed the trip overall, the guide and driver were excellent.
Given that the title of the trip mentions two main cities we felt that the trip to Bale could have been skipped. It is mentioned on the itinerary and is a lovely spot. However it takes around 45 minutes off the day, which we felt would have been better to allow more free time in Porec. We ended up dashing around the Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 20 minutes which was a real shame.
The lunch was lovely and a real taste of the region. Overall a great day and glad we went.

Great day made up for poor admin - Great tour. Mauro, guide and Vittorio, driver, excellent at their jobs. The lunch was very good. However the administration was not good. We were told to go to a meeting point in Pula . St. Peter/Parking/Yacht service with coordinates. The coordinates didn't work. We asked 3 people (another tour guide, the guy in the Tourist office and a parking attendant. None could help. Went back to TA admin and was basically told that no one else had problems but a map was then attached. We did find meeting point with the map. Our tour guide on the bus told us that they usually had problems finding clients in Pula who couldn't find the meeting point. Attitude of Dijana was not satisfactory. I had advised her that Ulica sv Petra does not translate as St Peter.

Great guide awful meal - Great guide but why we had to travel to the middle of nowhere for a meal that was awful is beyond me. I’d rather have bought my own meal in Rovinj or Porec and had more time there
