Double barrel experience and lunch at harvest kitchen - The tour was excellent, Eva was excellent and gave us a real insight into how wine is made and showed us some wine tasting skills. The lunch was superb and highly recommend it. It was the highlight of our trip.

LOVELY EXPERIENCE. - From the start of our visit the staff were very welcoming. We had a tasting and the lady (I think her name was Dianne) was very helpful and extremely informative, you could see that she loves her job. I'm not into wines, unfortunately, however my friend is and they were able to discuss many things. I was able to taste a sparkling wine, which surprisingly I did like. The total experience was lovely and a nice relaxing atmosphere and we walked away with a few bottles - after paying for them 😊. There is also a lovely cafe next to the tasting room. It's good to go early as you get more attention as its not as busy.

Would 100% do this again - We had the best time at Jacob’s creek. Megan took us through our double barrel experience and she made the experience so memorable. It was just like adding an extra friend to our group. She was knowledgeable and fun. Our whole group had such a great day with her. We followed that up with lunch and I believe Andrew was our server. He was super fun too and very sweet. I dont think we could have possibly had a better day. Highly highly highly recommend

Great experience in a modern, friendly facility that pays homage to the area - We went to the Jacobs Creek as a group of three on a Sunday and were served by a wonderful, knowledgeable woman, Megan. She knew everything about the wines and the region and she was friendly enough to share all her knowledge with us. The wines were spectacular - the Double Barrel VSOP Shiraz and Double Barrel 38 YO Irish Whisky barrels single vineyard Shiraz were, in one word, YUM. A beautiful, modern facility that contained beautiful art and homage to the history of the region and the Jacobs Creek brand. Megan even let us know that the original cork trees were just down the road - all these little things contributing to the best experience I have ever had at a Barossa Winery. Highly recommend that anyone attend - whether for a walk, wine, lunch or just to explore.

Double Barrel in the Barossa - Warm welcome with a fizzy glass of wine and then a wander through the vines with an informative explanation of the different grape varieties. The area set up for the wine tasting was away from the public area so nice and quiet. Our host was very knowledgeable on the wines and the double barrel range. We tried 5 different versions, each better than the last and gave a new insight to the different blends, which has helped us make better choices at the local bottle shop when buying this brand. An enjoyable couple of hours at a very reasonable price, just wish we had chosen the lunch option as it was a great day and a lunch with the wines would have rounded it off nicely.
