- Tortuguero National Park - It is essential to communicate with us on the day of your tour, as there are two time slots for turtle observation: 8pm-10pm and 10pm-12pm. A national park manager assigns schedules and sectors to each guide to prevent overcrowding on the beach. Therefore, around 5:30pm on the day of the tour, we will contact you to inform you of your tour schedule and meeting time with the guide.
- Tortuguero National Park - Our certified guide will meet you at the Almond Dock in Tortuguero. Please wear dark clothing (NOT white) and closed shoes. You will be informed of the sector for turtle observation. There are five sectors for turtle watching: two within the national park accessible by walking, and three in public areas, one reachable by walking and the other two requiring a taxi boat.
- Tortuguero National Park - Once the guide informs you of your destination, you will either walk if the sector is near the village or take a taxi boat if it is farther away. Upon arrival at the assigned sector, the guide will explain the tour dynamics and discuss the Sea Turtles. The tour allows two hours to observe the turtles during one of the processes permitted by the National Park: Spawning (laying eggs), capping, or camouflaging the nest. You may witness all three processes or just some, as this is a natural event and occurs when the turtle is ready.
