Today, the driver will collect guests from their City Hotel at 5 a.m. to embark on a journey to Volcanoes National Park. The trip to the park typically takes 2-3 hours. Upon arrival at the park offices, park officers will provide a briefing and assign guests to a gorilla group for tracking.
A ranger guide will then lead the group into the forest to track…
Today, the driver will collect guests from their City Hotel at 5 a.m. to embark on a journey to Volcanoes National Park. The trip to the park typically takes 2-3 hours. Upon arrival at the park offices, park officers will provide a briefing and assign guests to a gorilla group for tracking.
A ranger guide will then lead the group into the forest to track the primates. The gorilla trek can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 8 hours, depending on the primates’ movements. Once the gorillas are located, guests will have the opportunity to spend one hour with them. After this memorable experience, the group will trek back out of the forest and return to the gate. Lunch will follow, and later, guests will depart for Kigali, where they will be dropped off at their hotel.
