Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Rise early for breakfast and gather at the park headquarters for the Golden Monkey trek. After a brief orientation, join the park ranger guide for a trek lasting 2-6 hours, depending on the monkeys’ location. Following a successful trek, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening.
Gorilla Trekking
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Start your day with an early breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. Begin your gorilla tracking adventure with fellow trekkers, led by a ranger guide. The trek can last from a few hours to a full day, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Upon finding them, enjoy an hour of interaction and photography. Return to the lodge afterward.
Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park - This morning, embark on a journey to the renowned Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through coffee and tea farms, reaching the Ishasha sector, known for tree-climbing lions, where you will stay overnight. Expect to see elephants, topis, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, leopards, lions, warthogs, and more. Ishasha is rich with grazers, predators, and savannah birds.
Chimpanzee Trekking and Boat Cruise
Queen Elizabeth National Park - After breakfast, set off for chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura Gorge, known as the ‘valley of apes.’ After a successful trek, enjoy a hot lunch at the lodge. Later, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects two lakes, and observe hippos, shorebirds, elephants, and more.
Return to Kigali
Kigali - After an early breakfast, you may choose to explore the park for any wildlife you missed the previous day or begin a scenic drive back to Kigali.
