Amazing!! - I researched several tour companies and settled on Trail Trek Africa given the other reviews, they are a young business with young founders and their communication was amazing and genuine. You will not regret booking with them. I had an unforgettable day with Eric as my driver. Peterson was always communicative via WhatsApp and sorts everything for you beforehand. The gorilla trek itself was of course a highlight but during the drive itself and lunch I learned so much more about Rwanda from Eric and all of the facts and tips he gave. I felt very welcomed. This was a bucket list experience and one I will never forget!

The best experience! - I enjoyed my six days in Rwanda much more than I had expected. I appreciate Peterson very much for my fantastic experience. Before I visited Rwanda, I asked Peterson many questions, so many that I was afraid he might refuse to be my guide or agent. But he answered all my questions and gave me kind advice. Of course, in Rwanda, both in the car and while walking, he told me a lot about Rwanda and answered all of my questions. I went gorilla trekking and climbed Mount Bisoke. Both were great experiences, but the most moving one was the cultural tour to a village. I cooked with the village women and made banana beer. Furthermore, I danced and sang songs with them. The village was different from the one I saw on the Volcanoes National Park's website. Peterson chose this village for me. The moment I saw the leader of the women's group welcome me with a great smile, I was sure Peterson's choice was perfect. When I got to the house, five or six women welcomed me with dancing and singing. I understood they were welcoming me and at the same time enjoying themselves. They invited me to dance with them, but I didn't because I had hurt my knee while climbing Mount Bisoke the previous day. However, I ultimately danced with them after making banana beer because their dancing and singing looked and sounded very enjoyable. I really thank Peterson very much. Without him, I couldn't have enjoyed Rwanda so much.

A fabulous Gorilla trek experience! - I researched a good number of gorilla trek tour operators and chose Trail Trek Africa. So glad I did! Booking was easy and efficient. Confirmation with sent immediately. A few follow up emails to ensure we were in sync for the big day. My driver arrived on time with water and snacks and lots of great information. The 2 1/2 hour drive to the visitor center was seamless and enjoyable. Once there, my driver took care of everything, including assignment to a Ranger group, renting walking stick and gators, etc. After one of the most amazing experiences of my life, he was right there waiting for me, and drove me to a fabulous lunch nearby where I met Peterson, One of the three owners, who is delightful. This is a compact owned by 3 young entrepreneurs who really have it together and aim to please, and they take credit cards! I highly recommend!

Fabulous trip with the Mountain Gorillas - Wonderful trip with Robertson, was lucky to be in the right place next to the trail and twice the Silverback and troop moved right passed me…..great trackers and guides. Ensure you have clothing that can withstand stinging nettles…..strong garden gloves and hiking boots that can grip with climbing will help

Incredible experience with Robertson visiting the Mountain Gorillas - An experience of a life time. Robertson guided me through the gorilla permit process to make sure I applied on time. There are limited spots and only eight people per gorilla family. He advised on what to wear , tips for porters (only $10 and highly advised as they carried your backpack and helped you on the tougher spots on the trail. He arrived on time in a new land cruiser loaded with water and snacks. The lunch afterwards was delicious at what appeared to be the best place in town. He responded quickly in the days and months prior to all my questions. It was an incredible experience and well worth the price. I found him on viator and had consulted many companies before settling on him. Others wanted my credit card which Viator advised against as they had secure handling of your card
