Gorilla Trekking and Community Visit in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Start the day with an early breakfast and head to the park headquarters by 7:30 am for a briefing from the Park Wardens. They will assign you to different gorilla families for tracking. In addition to gorillas, you may encounter animals like antelopes, bush pigs, chimpanzees, baboons, and elephants. The park is also home to over 350 bird species. Upon meeting the gentle giants, you are allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Photography is permitted, but without flash, and a minimum distance of 5 meters must be maintained. The trek can last between 2 and 8 hours, but it is a rewarding experience. Spend the afternoon on a community walk to observe the lifestyle of the people living around Bwindi, which also directly supports the local community.
