• Akagera National Park - At 5:00 AM, an English/French-speaking guide will collect guests from their hotel in Kigali. Enjoy a picturesque drive through Rwanda’s lush scenery, passing vibrant farmlands and local markets, as the journey heads east toward Akagera NP.

Upon arrival at 7:30 AM in Akagera NP, visitors will proceed to the headquarters for registration before embarking on an exciting game drive through the park’s varied habitats. Be on the lookout for the African Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinoceroses.

At 2:00 PM, guests can enjoy a relaxing boat trip on Lake Ihema, which is rich with wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The boat ride provides a unique view of the park’s ecosystem.

At 5:00 PM, it’s time for departure. The drive back to Kigali offers a chance to reflect on the day’s unforgettable experiences and wildlife encounters. Expect to arrive in Kigali by approximately 7:30 PM, depending on traffic conditions.
