Game Drive Safari, Akagera National Park - Volcanoes National Park

Volcanoes National Park - After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in Akagera National Park, getting close to the wildlife. Exit the park at the Northern Nyungwe gate and proceed to Volcanoes National Park via Byumba. The drive through the park’s diverse landscapes includes highlights such as the Crocodile Swimming Pool and Kilala Valley, known for its abundant wildlife near the Nyungwe exit gate. Overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or a similar accommodation.

Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Trip Volcanoes National Park

Volcanoes National Park - Following an early breakfast, transfer to Kinigi Park headquarters for a trekking briefing, then hike into the rainforest to observe a troop of majestic mountain gorillas. Each troop is monitored by a 24-hour guard, ensuring their location is known. Spend approximately an hour observing them up close. Return to the lodge after the experience. Overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or a similar accommodation.

Mount Bisoke Volcano Trekking, Hiking & Climbing, Volcanoes NP

Volcanoes National Park - After an early breakfast, head to Volcanoes National Park headquarters at Kinigi for the Bisoke Volcano Trekking. Mount Bisoke, an active volcano in the Virunga Mountains of the Albertine Rift, straddles the border of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, with its summit and crater lake located in Rwanda. Return to the hotel after the hike. Overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or a similar accommodation.

Golden Monkey Trekking, Volcanoes NP - Nyungwe National Park.

Nyungwe Forest National Park - After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters at Kinigi for golden monkey tracking. These beautiful, endangered primates are more agile than mountain gorillas and inhabit bamboo thickets on the lower mountain slopes. Tracking them helps acclimatize to the altitude, offering final views of the park’s surroundings before transferring to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Overnight stay at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel or a similar accommodation.

Rwanda Chimpanzee Trekking & Canopy Walk, Nyungwe National Park.

Nyungwe Forest National Park - At 4:30 am, enjoy an early breakfast or opt for a packed breakfast, then meet with the ranger guide for a transfer to Cyamudongo or Uwinka visitors center to begin chimpanzee trekking. This is followed by a canopy walk starting at Uwinka visitors center. Return to the hotel after the day’s activities. Overnight stay at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel or a similar accommodation.

Nyungwe National Park - Kigali

Kigali - After an early breakfast, transfer back to Kigali, concluding the 7-Day Wildlife Tour, Bisoke Hike, and Gorilla Trekking Trip. The driver guide will drop you at your designated hotel or the airport for your outbound flight home.
