Y Linh Ho - Legend has it that the name of Y Linh Ho Village holds a significant meaning. According to the village elders, “Y Linh Ho” was named after the first man who established the village: Mr. Ly Linh Ho. In the past, the area surrounding the village was inhabited by Dao people led by Mr. Ly Linh Ho. Over time, the Dao people developed a new village and named it Y Linh Ho. Eventually, the Dao people migrated to other areas, and the Mong people settled here. However, the name “Y Linh Ho” was retained by the villagers to honor the founder of the village.
Lao Chai - Lao Chai is nestled amidst rice and corn terraces, offering travelers the opportunity to walk along narrow yet magnificent paths through the fields to admire the entire area. The ideal time to visit Lao Chai is from September to April, when the village is beautifully adorned with stunning rice terrace fields. From the main road, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire village nestled in high mountains alongside tranquil river flows.
Ta Van Village - Ta Van Village is home to 110 ethnic families, primarily Black H’Mong, who have lived here for generations. The village is inhabited by two major minority groups: the Giay and the Dao. After crossing the wooden bridge through Muong Hoa Valley (Thung Lung Muong Hoa) - a water stream connecting Ta Van to the outside world, visitors will encounter the Giay community. Visiting in mid-November or December (October in the Lunar calendar) offers the chance to experience the Giay’s wedding season with traditional wedding customs. Meanwhile, the Dao community resides further up the hill. These locals primarily earn their living through farming and occasionally tourism services.
